I looked at Damien as he walked towards me angrily. I was a little shocked as he was a little bit too close to me.

"Y-Yes Damien, you need anything?" I managed to stutter out.

"Why are you talking to Jonah?" He said firmly. I suddenly was a little bit scared of him. I was thinking of running away from him, but my job is to take care of him, not to run away from him.

"H-he's my childhood friend! Can't I talk to Jonah?" I exclaimed, making him less angry for some reason. He looked at me and sighed.

"Okay fine, j-just don't go too near to him. I don't like it when you're near him." He said, letting me go and backing away from me.

"And why is that so? Why do you want me to back away from my childhood friend?" I said, now getting closer to him again. To be honest, I was a little bit angry at him for not letting me talk to Jonah.

"Because, I just don't like it. Whatever, let's just go grab lunch." He said while grabbing my wrist and pulling me to the canteen.

I was confused. Why is Damien being so hostile to me when I was talking with boys? I silently followed him and grabbed some food.

I ate my food silently as I watch Damien eat his food ruthlessly. It was quite awkward so I decided to speak.

"Damien, don't eat too fast, you might choke!" I nagged him and suddenly, he started to choke.

Many consecutive coughs were heard as I swiftly took out my bottle and passed it to him. He took my bottle and drank it, and soon, he was fine again.

"A-Are you okay?" I went towards him as he nodded. Suddenly, I realised that Damien drank from my water bottle, and I started to blush.

"Thanks Dia. Sorry I drank your bottle though..." He chuckled as I waved my hand.

"No, no, it's fine...like I said, it's my responsibility to take care of you..." I smiled and he did the same.

After all that, we finished our food and returned our tray to the respective stalls.

"So...is Michael your friend?" I asked him as he shook his head. He seemed a little pissed when I said Michael's name.

"Michael Ang, Playboy of the class. I suggest you don't go too close to him, he might play with your feelings." He said, coldly while looking at me.

"He's not really my friend, but I hate his cocky guts. He thinks he's so handsome but he seriously looks like a trash can." He rolled his eyes as I laughed.

"That's true..." I laughed, and he ended up laughing along with me.

Suddenly we see Jonah approaching me. I smiled and waved at him and he walked with us.

"So Damien, how's it like being with Diane? She's cute, huh?" I giggled, remembering that we were still teasing Damien.

"N-No! She's so ugly, I can't believe that I'm with her now! She's always clinging om me and annoying me!" Damien spat. I then pretended to be sad and linked arms with Jonah.

"Oh well, then I guess I'll hangout with Jonah more then..." I said, winking at Jonah as he ruffles my hair.

"H-Hey, Diane! I didn't mean it! " Damien said, running towards us and walking with us again. And suddenly...

"Yo Diane! What's up!" Michael smirked as Damien walked in front of me.

"I told you to get away from Diane. She's my friend and I don't want you to hurt her." He said, protecting me when I can protect myself.

"But you're not dating her right, so I can have her, right?" Michael winked at me, but I didn't really respond back.

He wasn't that handsome but I was flattered that he called me cute in class.

"Guys, stop arguing over me." I said, standing in the middle of the two of them.

They stopped after hearing what I said. I feel like a goddess but I'm just a guardian, so I'm not that special.

The bell rang again, and we had to go for our class again. I walked to the class as Damien followed.

While walking to class, I was thinking about Michael. Since my top priority was Damien, I was thinking about how Damien treated Michael and how he treated Damien.

It seemed to me that they did not fit together, why is that so? Maybe he bullies Damien, or is it his cocky attitude?

I decided to just see what will happen anyways. If Jonah's human is bullying my human, then we'll have to discuss things out.

Of course as guardians, we don't have to hate each other because our humans hate each other too, but we'll try to solve the problem anyways.

I made a mental note to myself to text Jonah on my G-Phone at home.
