Disclaimer: I do not own any of the recognized characters or universes within.  If I did…I would have ended the Inheritance Cycle with Arya and Eragon in love and entangled in a heated, naked, and sweaty mess in their bed.  Harry Potter would have been smarter and taken every opportunity he had to make love to the gorgeous Miss Granger and when they were old enough he would have made her the next Mrs. Potter.

Harry finished his chant and watched with satisfaction as the piece of Tom Riddle’s soul embedded within the ring found at the Gaunt shack disintegrated screaming. 

“Another piece of the evil little two legs gone,” Saphira commented.  “Good,” the dragon declared as she peered down at the ring.

Rider and dragon worked in the lab Harry had created not too long ago in one of the many structures sprouting up on the surface of Mars.  This lab was more heavily warded than most of the structures on the Martian surface to protect the rest of the sprawling magical complex from any inadvertent explosions or backlash from experiments. 

“Yes, well now the question is just what is this ring?” Harry asked.  “The stone still holds a great deal of power.  Can you sense it?”

“Of course,” Saphira confirmed while sniffing the ring.  “It smells like your cloak and that Elder wand you have.”

“You don’t think?” Harry began, while thinking of the two Deathly Hallows he had in his possession.

“There’s only one good way to find out,” Saphira responded.

Harry focused on the objects in question and felt the invisibility cloak flow out of its specially enchanted compartment within the fairy enchanted invisibility arm band he wore.  The sticking charms on the cloak caused it to mold to its owner’s form.  The Elder wand sprang into Harry’s hand.  At the same time he slipped the ring on his right hand.  An incredible sense of power washed over Harry as soon as the ring slipped on his finger.  Knowledge flooded the sorcerer’s mind.  Rituals of life and death magic that had been lost for millennia flowed into Harry’s knowledge stores and conversely into Saphira.  The sorcerer’s senses focused on the nearby module called Habitat.  Habitat was an arc Luna and Ginny were creating which housed every species of magical and non-magical animal on Earth.  Space expansion charms allowed the module to contain hundreds of unique ecosystems with very little space being used on the Martian surface. 

As his mind scanned over each species within Habitat, the mage immediately knew the most efficient way to kill each creature and then a dozen different ways to restore that same deceased animal to life with no ill effects.  There were several methods of killing which took longer but were much harder to return from.  Harry even suddenly knew how to destroy the very essence of a being.  What Tom Riddle had done in splitting his soul was now child’s play to Harry Potter, possessor of the Deathly Hallows.
