Disclaimer: I do not own any of the recognized characters or universes within.  If I did…I would have ended the Inheritance Cycle with Arya and Eragon in love and entangled in a heated, naked, and sweaty mess in their bed.  Harry Potter would have been smarter and taken every opportunity he had to make love to the gorgeous Miss Granger and when they were old enough he would have made her the next Mrs. Potter.

“Yes, yes of course,” Amelia said, suddenly snapping back into her usual demeanor after the shock of what she had just witnessed.

Amelia sent out a spell and it was only a minute later that half a dozen popping noises could be heard.  A group of Aurors came rushing in through the broken wall with wands drawn.

“Director, are you alright?  What happened?” A tall bald black wizard with one gold earring questioned.

“The action is over now Shacklebolt.  Voldemort attacked,” Amelia announced, stopping her Aurors cold.

Amelia was proud of herself for being able to say his name without a stutter.  After seeing Voldemort getting his ass kicked by Harry, Amelia was a bit surer of the light side’s chances.

“Voldemort Ma’am?” Shacklebolt prompted for clarification.

“He’s back.  I assume this is why Fudge has been upping our numbers quietly.  And now we know the Dark Lord’s response,” Amelia said.  “My brother is down the hall and to the right with his wife. She was crucioed I suspect from the state she arrived in.  I will be taking the statements of my niece and her boyfriend.”

“But Ma’am, protocol,” began another Auror.

“I know what the protocol is Dawlish.  Don’t assume to lecture me on protocol,” Amelia snapped.  “Guard the grounds while Shacklebolt and Tenor do a patrol of the Manor.  Be warned that Voldemort seems incapable of suffering any lasting harm.  If he shows up…make as much noise and light as you can.  I’ll sick Harry on him,” the witch declared with a straight face though those who knew her could see the hint of a smile in her eyes.

Amelia took off down the hall towards the center of the Manor and the ward control room.  The witch led her niece and Harry into the room and closed the door before rounding on them.

“Alright…what the bloody hell just happened?  How does a third year, no matter who he is, take on Voldemort and not end up dead?” Amelia probed.

Harry’s eyes and more analyzed Amelia Bones.  There was something eerily intense about those bright green eyes.  Susan was looking to her boyfriend calmly and waiting for his reaction.

“I want a witch’s oath that what I tell you will not be repeated without my permission.  I only consider telling you because you are Susan’s family and are very important to her,” Harry stipulated.
