My Mission

One action could spark something so special.

And that was what exactly happened.

My first instinct was to catch you- which I did.

You grabbed hold of my shirt as your face showed a panicked expression.

My gaze fell onto your eyes instantly.

Your eyes were abnormal.

They were purple. Maybe violet.

At first glance, you would only see a cheerful and pure soul. Fitting for your personality and appearance.

Although, that wasn’t the case.

As I stare at your abnormal orbs, I found the truth.

I found a lost and terrified soul. Fitting for a timid and cautious personality.

But alas, I couldn’t stare much longer.

Your gaze met mine before averting it. You stood up slowly and escaping your previous position- with your hand on my shoulder to support yourself.

Before I knew, you picked up the fallen books that I never realized and left me without a word.

From that moment, I decided to save you.

As if it was a mission.

My mission.

And I would whatever it takes to save you. Even if it will cost my life.
