I opened my eyes to see seomthing deep underneath the water I was trapped in at the moment. I saw green?
Trees. An Ocean. A city? Doesn't look modern so it must be like a village. And a mountain with five faces carved into it. Maybe I can ask Sora about it.
I felt someone pulling on my arm, tugging me towards the surface. The weird hold on my leg was loosened and as soon as I reached the surface, I took in as much air as I could.
Gaara pulled me towards the edge where Sora was trying her best not to cry, but failed as a few slipped past her eyes.
"Misuzu!" She ran up to me and tackled me to the ground, practically hugging me to death. "Thank goodness, are you okay? Do you need to go to the hospital?"
"I'm fine." I looked towards the one who saved me. "Thank you Gaara." He squatted next to me and held my hand. "I'm glad you're okay."
The surrounding people asked for my health too. They had seen me not come back up, so of course they'll wonder.
"I'm alright. Sorry for worrying some of you." They nodded and started going about their own business, some stayed to make sure I was really okay before leaving.
"Lets go home Misuzu." Sora tried to help me up, but my legs gave up on me and I fell back to the hard ground, probably scraping my knees from the slight pain I felt there.
"Here." Gaara gave me his back and I climed on happily. "Sorry Gaara." I could be weak and not even know until something happens to me.
----------------------------
The train ride was quiet. I sat between Sora and Gaara. My head was leaning on Gaara's shoulder while Sora held my hand softly, assuring I would be fine.
"Time to get off." Sora nudged me before I fell asleep. Gaara lifted me up and carried me bridal style while we got off.
-----------------------------------
"Sora come in with us, I need to tell you something." I told her before she turned she leave. "Alright."
She followed us inside and Gaara set me down gently on the couch while he sat next to my left and Sora sat on the ground in front of me.
"At the bottom of the wave pool...I saw something. I saw trees, the ocean, and something that looked to be like a village." Sora stared at me intently, trying to interpret what I saw.
"Did you happen to see any rock carvings like monuments?" I thought back to what I saw.
"I did. It was a very tiny detail, but I saw it with five faces carved into it." Which reminds me.
"You saw Konoha then." Gaara's eyes widened next to mine. "Konoha?" He whispered slightly. "Are you sure?"
"How can I not be sure? I saw mostly every episode and read the manga. I can't mistake it for something else." She said it with so much confidence.
"But why was it at the bottom of the wave pool then?"
"I think it was a portal. And portals show up in different places right?" Sora talked to herself for a couple minutes. "Yeah. It's a portal. And to get Gaara back to where he came from. You need your ceiling portal to open again."
"It's getting late. I have to go back before it gets home before me." She apologized before leaving.
A portal.
The wave pool one led to Konoha.
And my ceiling one led where Gaara came from.
Now all we have to do is wait.
