Season 1: Reunited

What Happened?

It was just me and Jace at the Hospital.

"Sweety?" I said rubbing his arm.

"Yes mommy?" Jace slightly turned his head towards me.

"Want to tell mommy what happened?" I said.

"I just... wanted to go with daddy... I tried looking for him... I got lost.... And couldn't find my way back home...." Jace said frowning.

"Baby, Mommy and Daddy have been looking everywhere for you." I said in tears.

"I'm sorry mommy-" He was interrupted by his stomach.

I reached over and rubbed his stomach.

"Does it hurt?" I asked concerned.

"A little, I'm hungry." Jace said pouting.

"Daddy is on his way back with food." I said smiling.

"Where's my sister?" Jace said.

"I- I don't even know. I believe Zach left her at our house." I said reaching for my phone.

I started dailing Tate's number.

On the Phone with Tate

Tate Hello? Is everything okay?

Me Yea, I'm at the hospital with Jace. Is Rose there?

Tate Yea, she's playing with Hailey. And oh my gosh! You found Jace!?

Me Yes! He's hungry, so Zach left to get all of us some food.

Tate I want food.

Me Ask Hoenah.

Tate Haha! Really funny! Want us to bring her over?

Me No, we'll come back tomorrow to check on Jace and I'll bring her then.

Tate Oh okay. Well, Hailey just started crying so I'll call you later.

Me Alrighty! Bye.

Tate Adios!

Off the Phone

I sighed and leaned back on my chair until I heard a knock on the door.

"Who is it?" I spoke.

"It's Zach."

"Open the door." I said giggling.

"I need help." He said kicking the door.

I got up and opened the door. He walked in and I closed it back. I watched as he sat the food down on the side table and separated everything.

"What happened to McDonald's?" I spoke up seeing him with a Chipotle bag.

"Chipotle seemed closer." He said shrugging his shoulders.

"Daddy?" Jace said.

"Yes son?" Zach said walking towards the bed.

"Come here." Jace said pulling Zach towards him.

He whispered something in his ear that made Zach smile.

"Oh really?" He said smiling.

Jace just nodded while biting his bottom lip.

"What?" I said still standing by the door.

Zach just walked up to me and held my hand.

"Jace says he wants his parents to be happy." Zach said chuckling.
