The soft sound of footsteps ring in my head, I whip my head around and look at all the tributes watching them judge me and me doing the same, even though we have no idea about each other, and I can't help thinking if I meet any of these people in different circumstances, would I be friends with any of them? Pushing the thought out of my head, I start to look around at peoples faces all so sure of their fate. I feel someone staring at me and as I turn around I see a young girl maybe 14? Some how I am fascinated by her her eyes so piercing her hair a golden blonde and then I realise I have become the one staring and look away and pretend I wasn't looking at her .her face stuck in my mind and by that time people are starting to walk towards the station of their choice I go to the spears along with a boy from district 1, I can see him smirking out of the corner of my eye.

He throws first slightly off but he turns back at me and gives me a look as if he is saying beat that. I walk up grab a spear throw it like it was nothing not bothering to look back to see where I hit because I know where it did and walk off to the knife throwing. That girl is there she is from district 7 lumber , she is throwing knives and I can't help but say to her "you should lift your elbow higher" I think about what I said as soon as it left my mouth . But what can you do, she takes my advice at hit the bullseye. She gives me a smile and I give one back , my persona is shattering by the second. Not wanting to spend any more time with her I move on the combat and before I know it I am eating lunch. The other careers aren't that bad bad I have a special spot of hatred for quake, I just don't know what it is about him.

After lunch I go to survival skills like fire starting, that girl is there and I decide through much conflict with myself to go over there and find out what her names is . "Hey" I say trying not to sound intimidating but of course I do I am the one trying to kill you. "Hi" she says in a small but sure voice. "What's your name" I say, " cumin" she replies."we'll I was wondering if you wanted to join the careers"I say . She dose not say anything for a while but then say "maybe". I am not really sure that that is the right answer but I guess she has to ask her mentor so I just give her a smile and walk away and by that time training is over so I Ralis and we go up the lift this time I am not as excited, we just stand there until he says" do you like the other careers", I automatically say "yes" and as I say that the door opens and without another word I am out of there. As I am getting ready for dinner I start to realises I am noticing more things about Ralis things that I like. But there I not point in that so I quickly dismiss the thought and move on.

At dinner I don't say much I just notice little things about the way the different people behave and by the time dinner is

finished I head back to my room and I am out like a light.
