Backstory: Lotus has been friends with Caleb for as long as she can remember. She was always there for him like he was for he. Over time the two started to develop feelings for each other but never got to say anything because they were both reaped into the Hunger games.
Lotus was one of the last three, she tried to stay close to Caleb but she couldn't bare to think about him dying. One day she got hurt badly a spare to the side but it didn't kill her. Caleb stumbled across her, she begged him to kill her, the pain was to much. So he stabbed her not being able to see the tears in her eyes or the pain in her voice as cried
