TORI POV
My head jolted up from my pillow, as I sat up. I paused my YouTube video (*cough cough* The Dolan twins) and tiptoed to my window to see if I could see anyone, I could but what I saw was disturbing. There was a hooded person staring up at my window, their face was completely covered so I couldn't quite get who it was. When they saw me, they ran back to my front door and started to pound on it rapidly, but then it suddenly stopped. I looked back through my window and the person was gone, or so I thought until I remembered that I had left my back door unlocked. I quickly ran to the window at the side of my house and cautiously looked out of it. Shit. They were walking round to the back of my house. I ran downstairs as fast as I could and into the kitchen. (Where the back door is) I grabbed a pan off of the stove (tangled references over here 😂) and ran to the door to lock it but my keys were gone. Fuck. I ran to the front door to get my keys and was running back until I heard the door handle start to move. I stopped dead in my tracks until I heard the door swing open and someone walk in.
"Tori, I know your in here" their voice called out.
Their voice was so deep, I didn't know anyone with a voice that deep. I jogged up the stairs and back into my room, being careful not to make a sound. I locked myself in my closet and messaged my parents telling them to come back from work as fast as they could.
-five minutes later-
I heard someone coming up the stairs with something dragging against the wall. The footsteps stopped as they reached my bedroom door and I heard them walk in but they weren't doing anything. Then I heard them go back downstairs and out of the door but I still waited for my parents to get back until I left the closet. The person had left a note on my bed that read...
