I headed home from my bakery after a long day at work. I was wearing a light grey blouse and some simple jeans. My ice blue hair was held back in a ponytail. I had contacts in my light grey eyes. I know... grey eyes? Weird I know. It's a long story. Anyways, I had sold over 300 treats and 150 cupcakes all in one day. My coworkers had been surprised when I got a guy to buy 10 cupcakes instead of his normal 3. I laughed and took a picture of their faces.
Their faces had big circled shaped mouths and wide eyes.
I continued to reminisce on the day when I bumped into someone. "I'm so sorry sir! I wasn't looking where I was going!" I quickly apologized to the averaged sized man in front of me.
He had dark brown eyes and blonde hair. He was wearing glasses and had a satchel on. He was wearing an outfit that looked like something an intern would wear. His light blued collared shirt. The pants were a tan color and he had on black dress shoes. "It's ok! Honestly, I wasn't looking either. I was distracted by some very complicated things and... I'm rambling, aren't I? Oh goodness! I have a really bad rambling problem! My name is Zach!"
I giggled slightly at this guy's reaction when he figured he was rambling. "My name is Celine. Nice to meet you," I say as I shake his hand. "Sorry that my hands are so cold. I was just in a bakery and I was the last one in the freezer." I took my hand back as he let go. "So can I have your number, Zach?" I ask, quickly grabbing my phone.
"My number is 375-682-9042. What's yours?" He answered quickly as I typed it in. "Mine is 263-864-3663. I hope we can talk some more. But for now, I have to go home. Bye Zach!" I said starting to walk away. "Bye!" He said. I could've sworn I saw a light blush on his face.
It was about 8:30 when I got home. I decided to sit down on the little couch that I have in my apartment. I turn on my TV to the News. Nothing interesting now.
I woke up and walked into my bathroom. I brushed my teeth and looked in the mirror. My light blue hair was a wrangled mess. My eyes had big bags under them. I sighed and got in the shower.
After my quick shower, I put on a casual outfit. This consisted of a white tank top and a black jacket. Some blue jeans and white converse. I put on my glasses and some concealer. I pulled my hair into a messy bun and sat back on the couch. I heard my phone ding and I looked over. It was Zach.
Z: Zach C: Celine
Z: Hey!
C: Hi...
Z: R U Ok?
C: Yea. Just tired.
Z: Ok. If you say so! Want to meet at the park later?
C: Sure! How does 1:00 sound?
Z: Perfect! I will see you then! Bye!
C: Bye
Great now I have to go to the park today! I didn't want to go out really at all today.
I walked to the park while listening to my music. I had about a 10 walk but I have walked about 6 minutes already. I giggled slightly at my thoughts. I couldn't wait to see Zach again! I don't have a crush but he seems like a good guy just to hang out with.
"Hey, Celine!" Zach exclaimed while running towards me. I smiled at his silliness. I stopped walking and took out one of my earbuds.
"Hey, Zach," I replied nonchalantly. I kept my face pretty neutral.
"Are you sure you're ok? You don't look ok," Zach questioned as I kept little emotion on my face.
"Yeah, I'm fine. This is just my neutral face," I said looking up from my phone. "Anyway, want to go get coffee or ice cream or something?" I asked changing the subject from my face to food.
"Yeah! That sounds amazing!" He replies as we walk to the nearest coffee shop. Which happened to be Starbucks.
