Max POV
Once the car was in park Nikki and I practically flew out the car and ran straight to the doorstep.
Nikki was about to open the door but before she could Neil stepped in front of her and knocked twice.
I punched his arm making him wince "Neil what are you doing?!" He raised a brow "Um...I'm knocking? Like a normal person?"
Both Nikki and I roll our eyes, "Neil this isn't a fucking house warming party-"
And with that the door opened to reveal a drunk Harrison; "H-hey Neil!" He slurred "Why dontcha come inside-ow!"
He was pushed to the side by the person I hated most, Preston Goodplay.
I looked down at him before he flicked my forehead "Ow! I'm fucking taller than you asshole!" I hissed before pushing past him into the living room.
I heard Nikki and Neil apologize for my actions before Nikki slapped my arm and pulled me by my ear muttering "You be nice or this whole fucking party knows about your 'alone time', got it?!" Her scary voice very clear through her words.
I groaned a bit "Fine..." Neil looked around the living room, and soon so did Nikki and I.
There was no blaring music and barely any party goers, it was just a living room. I snorted; I knew this party would be a bust.
I turned to Preston "Nice party Preston...really exciting" I said in the most sarcastic tone I could make.
"Well Max, the party is actually in the back but you could continue to stay here if it's so exciting!"
(A/N I'm going to switch to 3rd POV because 1st POV is kinda hard for me! Sorry in advanced 😞)
The trio plus Preston made their way to the backyard of his house, they finally made it and to say the least Max was impressed.
The music was loud but not to loud, which is something the trio appreciated. And to Nikki's surprise they were playing Billie Eilish, much to Neil and Max's annoyance as they have to put up with Nikki screaming all the lyrics the whole night.
Preston smirked at the trios amazement, especially taking in Max's amazed gaze which made him blush slightly.
Preston got onto his tippy toes to whisper into Max's ear "Nice makeup by the way-" And with that Preston disappeared into the crowd.
Max got chills from the whispered words but was soon being dragged by Nikki to go find Erid, Max had no clue where the hell Neil went.
'He probably went to go fuck Harrison' was the most logical explanation Max wound up with. After about an hour in a half of searching for Erid Nikki gave up.
Instead finding two lawn chairs to sit in Nikki slugged in her seat, pouting a bit. "Ugh! What if she didn't come!" She whined earning an eye roll from Max in return.
"Maybe she noticed this was a shitty high school party and was like 'oh shit this is a shitty high school party I'll stay at home to do something else'" Max was fed up with Nikki's bullshit for tonight.
He dealt with her enough at school, so instead of listening to her ramble about how great Erid was he wandered to all around the house Nikki sprinting after him.
Nikki hated how Max seemed to hate her, she was always getting picked on in the group. But tonight was her night, the night she wouldn't stand out.
She eventually reached Max, grabbing his arm and pulling him back, "Max! What are you doing?!" She exclaimed.
"Getting away from you? I'm tryna hook up with a babe?" He said easily getting out her grip, Nikki snorted "Oh yeah your totally gonna get a babe with that makeup on!"
Max rolled his eyes for seemingly the hundredth time that night and was about ready to head home, "Max! Your supposed to help me!" She said pleadingly.
"With?" Max was so tired of Nikki's shit he would do about anything to keep her from yapping, so he figured this would help calm down her whining.
Nikki felt her face heat up as she mumbled the one sentence that would finally help her fit it with the other girls.
"I need you to help me lose my virginity-" "I'm not fucking you, no offense but I only have an interest in 'total babes'".
Nikki rolled her eyes "I'm not asking you to fuck me! Hook me up with someone! Oh! Someone hot though...like.....Pikeman or something-"
Max gagged the mention of that dreaded name, "Okay deal-but Pikeman in not hot, like at all-" Max stated holding back a laugh.
Just as Nikki was about to defend her man crush, the 'flower scouts' sashayed in. Max held in a breath as Sasha walked up to them followed by the other two scouts.
Here's a small secret: Max was a helpless idiot around Sasha, so when Sasha walked up to Max and Nikki wearing close to nothing in her crop top and mini skirt you can see why Max was as red as a fire truck.
"Hey Nikki!" Exclaimed Sasha as she perked up seeing the blue haired girl, Nikki smiled at her and the other two girls "Hey Sasha! Whatcha want?"
Sasha smirked cheekily "Well...I was wondering if you wanted to play truth or dare with us....only if you want-" "Yes! Ah-I mean sure..." Nikki said perking up at the invite.
Sasha nodded her head "Cool, follow us....you could bring your friend if you want...nice makeup by the way" She said gesturing to Max. Max felt his heart stop and look towards Nikki in a 'you better fucking take me bitch' kinda way.
Nikki snorted before taking Max's arm and leading him behind Sasha.
They finally reached a room at the end of the long hall, and entered to see some kids from camp in a circle.
Max and Nicki found their way in the circle, Nicki sitting next to Nerris, and Max next to Dolph.
Sasha cleared her throat "Who wants to start?"
