Chapter 5: the hospital

Lizzie's POV

After my classes I went on the field for tryouts. I had my spandex and the yellow nike shirt back on and I saw my brother, stiles, garret, and liam.

I smiled at liam and we all started running. Liam was really fast. He came in first. I was second, then garret. I saw stiles and Scott so I went over to them.

"What is he like a were-cheeta? Is that real? is that even a thing!?" stiles breathed out. I looked over to were he was looking at and saw liam doing push-ups.

Coach blew the whistle and we all lined up to throw the ball. Stiles went first and he practically threw it to the goalie and he caught it without trying.

Liam went next and he made the shot.

Everyone cheered and I cheered.

"Good job liam." I said hiving him a high five. He smiled and went back to the end if the line.

Stiles and Scott gave me a 'really' look. I smiled at them and shrugged my sholders. Scott went next and the ball bounced of the goal pole.

"Nice one McCall." garret said.

"Hey garret!" stiles said. Garret looked at stiles.

"Shut up!" me and stiles said the same time. Garret looked at me and I smiled shaking my head.

I was next. I picked up the ball and looked at the goal. I shot the ball and made it.

"Nice one McCall." garret repeated looking at me. I put on a serious face and gave him the 'are you serious' face on.

He shrugged, "what I ment it that time." he said smiling and putting his arm around my shoulder.

"Yeah yeah." I said putting my arm around his shoulder too.

Gerret is amazing. He's like my brother. Other than Scotty.

"Awesome liz." liam said smiling at me.

"Thanks."

After everone shot the ball at the net a few times we switched.

"McCall! defence!" coach yelled. Me and Scott looked at eachother.

"Which one?" we both said.

"I uh both I guess." he said. I smiled at Scott and we bothe went between the goal and the players. Garret went first.

He came running toward us and I hit his stick making it fall out of his hands and making him fall down.

"Oohhhh" everone said.

"Sorry gare."i said and smiled.

He smiled at me and shook his head.

Me and Scott high fived.

Next was liam.

He ran at us and I barley taped his stick before he moved and and Scott missed, liam shot the ball and made it into the goal.

Malia stood up, "That was luck! DO OVER!" She said.

"There is no do overs this is try outs." coach said to malia.

"Ten bucks and Lizzie and Scott." she said.

coach pointed at her and said,

"I'll take that action!"

She smiled satisfied and sat back down.

"Get back in there liam!" coach yelled.

Liam went back in the front and ran toward us.
