chpt. 4

•Greylees POV•

{6:58am}
my alarm clock went off.. i was annoyed i wanted to stay in bed and cry. i heard my mother running up stairs to come wake me up. i was not in the mood for anything so i just got up.
"greylee, i know you want to be in California but this is our new home now. and you have to go to school" i rolled my eyes as my mom continued blabbing about Canada and school and friends.
i went to my huge closet and picked out a really pretty outfit to wear.
my mom walked out of my room to give me some privacy so i can change.
i took off my pjs and put my outfit on.
afterwards i went to my bathroom and washed my face.
"there isn't a point for makeup.." i told myself..
i put my hair in a cute messy bun and pulled out some hairs by my ears.

for once i felt.. pretty.
i didn't know why.
i just did.
i put on my adidas and ran downstairs with my bookbag.
i grabbed a water and a protein bar.
i ate and drank then went to hug my mother.
"i love you.. have fun.." my mom said nervously, thinking i was going to snap at her

"i love you too mommy" i smiled and hugged her.
i was nervous but i put on a fake smile.

{7:58am}

my mom was driving me to school...
i was quaking in my loafers.
we pulled up and my mom kissed me on the forehead.
i gave her a nervous smile then got out of the car.
i looked at all the kids as my mom drove away leaving me alone.

i was scared..
i just wanted jace..
i stood there almost in tears..
i just ran under a tree and started crying..

•Jacks POV•

i was talking to my friends, Jaeden, Finn, Sophia, Wyatt, Chosen, and Jeremy.
i noticed a sad girl but wasn't about to go talk to her cause i'm awkward as fuck.
jaeden and finn kinda laughed that she looked sad.
i really didn't think it was funny but i laughed to..
"damn she's ugly as hell" finn chuckled
"yeah.. really ugly.." i said obviously lying because i thought she was beautiful.
i hear crying and turned around.
i seen the new girl, under a tree, mid panic attack, crying.
i felt so bad and just walked away.

"bro where you going?" finn said struggling to catch his breath.
i just flipped him
off and went to the crying girl.
"are you alright? are you hurt? is something wrong? do you need help?" i just kept asking questions cause i didn't know what else to do.

she looked up at with me genuine sadness in her face.
"i'm not alright.. i'm hurt.. i want to go home.."
i just stared at her sadly
i sat down beside her and we started talking.
we talked for a while and became pretty good friends.
she was so sweet
and when she smiled my heart melted.
