" YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE OF A MOTHER FUCKER!!!!" I honked in desperation as a naturally born idiot cut my face in the beautiful morning of the Californian traffic.

There is no need to lie, the mornings in Cali are getting on my nerves and even though I try my best to breathe in and out to keep calm and not get out of the car and smash a few windows, it doesn't work. I'm a rage driver and well... lets say screaming is the best and only option here.

The ringtone of a Lucifer's theme song started humming somewhere in my bag and I didn't even need to look who it was because I could bet all the money in my bank account that it was Sasha, my best friend's boyfriend calling from her part.

As we stopped the umpteenth time, I took the time to search for my phone and call back hands-free. As I'm a reckless driver, I don't want to be pulled up for a stupid teen thing. I can swear, policemen nowadays are like voltures trying to catch teens doing something wrong and give them a ticket. Society...

" What now Amber?!" I shouted as the phone vibrated signaling me that someone picked up.

" Looks like someone dropped their coffee on the curb this morning." a male voice answered.

If I had actually bet my money, I would have lost them by now.

" Sasha? What are you doing picking up your own phone?". It was surprising to see him actually answering and not his girl.

" Well... you said it, it's my phone. Amber is sick and she wanted me to call you to make sure you will get to school today and not end up Somewhere near to Nowhere."

He has a point. Or she. I'm not sure whos words were due to the fact that they spend so much time together that they sound the same. Ugh... stupid love.

" Nah, this time is going to be Somewhere near Hell. Pretty close to where you are now."

It's not far fetched from the truth. Silver Gate High Schools is nicknamed, by me if I may add, Silver Gate High Hell. I'm pretty sure I was once so wasted that I convinced some random guy to take me to school just so I could correct their mistake on the school. Traces of my master piece can still be seen on the school's brick outside walls today.

" You know what?!" his voice echoed in my car, " I'm done babysitting you. You piss on this school like there is no water and there is a fire going on and you need to put it out. Not many of us have the money to be here and some of us need to work their way in! "

And there it was. My financial status frown at me and used against me by my so called forced friend, again.

I didn't get into this school because I had the money to pay for it or I wanted to, but my mom had a friend that worked as the school's shrink and she figured ' why not kill two birds with one rock'. As a result, my detentions were with her, talking about my feelings instead of the death boring class with a half deaf teacher.

" Are you taking a piss now? While you are talking to me. Because your argument is way more creative then I'm used to."

" Fair point. But you are going to regret the day you told me that I lack imagination." I could literally see his triumphant stature while having his zip opened looking all proud.

A door squeaked in the distance and this was the signal that he was out of the bathroom and that it was time to play my tricks.

" Sasha? I hate to remind you because this is more embarrassing for me than it is for you, but you one, forgot to wash your hands and two, forgot to zip your pants."

It didn't embarrass me at all to remind him. I actually took plasure in seeing his petrified face turning a shade of red that the school's outside walls had.

" You are not even here! How do you know that?!"

" As a matter of fact, I'm everywhere."

That last sentence triggered something in me. A chill that travelled down my spine and numbed my feet. Everything in front of my eyes, disappeared and a pitch black surrounded me.

My breathing started to get out of control and my heart rates where so slow and heavy that I could hear them thromping in my ears.

I gripped the steering wheel, my knuckles turning white as I knew what would came next. The fall.

This fall wasn't like the ones you get when you fall asleep, like a moment of shock. This one was different. Everything that you were latching to melted in front of your face, dispair settling in while cold blood ran through your veins. The sit under you would disperse, letting you "fall" in a dark hole.

No feeling of ground under you. No feeling of suddenly hitting a flat surface. No levitating. No air flying through you. Comeplete and absolute darkness. No one surrounding you, nor your presence.
It was like you disappeared in a state of death while small voices crawled their way through the darkness stating irrational fears. Fear of failure, disappointment, fear of letting it go, fear of death.

Each voice was coming closer and closer, defining the fear that they spoke about. The chatters louder and louder, creating a chaoes in my head.

One voice. One dark husky voice was more prominent than the others. A voice that sounded familiar.

' Catharina.... Catharina.... Catharina...'

Slowly, that voice wrapped around my neck, a burning feeling igniting in my throat while I took a last gasp of air before my lungs collapsed.

' Come, this will be over soon...'

With every moment that I stayed in that state, every inch of my soul was sucked in by the voice.

" It will be over soon..." I managed to murmur

' Yes, my darling... Soon...'

I should've snapped by now out of this state, but this time seemed to last longer.

' Come my love, give your soul to be and we will be done...'

" Cathy? Cathy, you still there?! "

The pitch darkness disappeared, the traffic in front of me cleared and my hands were bloody from digging my nails in my palms while tightening the grip on the wheel.

" Ummm.... Sorry, can you repeat that?"

My legs where normal again, my vision locked on the highway while my head was still sworming with thoughts.

" I said, how long until you get here!" he shouted throught my phone's speaker.

" Be there in 5."

" 5 what? Seconds? Minutes? Hours? Days? Months?" he picked up the pace, " Years? Centuries?"

"Minutes you dumbass! Geez... If you'd hit the books as you hit the gym, you might have had an idea of what 'be there in 5' meant." I rolled my eyes with desperation knowing that he won't see me.

" I feel insulated, but at the same time good because you inflated my ego."

Pfff...this statement disserved another eye roll, but again, it wasn't far fetched from the truth. He was really good looking. Tall, broad shoulders, 6 pack, strong arms, defined V line, the whole pack. Add to that his messy mousse hair and green eyes with a cocky smirk and he may as well be one of the models from a Cosmopolitan cover.

" Well in this case, let me deflate your ego. Your zip is still open."

And with that, I hung up, turning a left to get into my spot at school.

" Hell, here I come..." I murmured to myself while stepping out of the car and throwing my bag over my left shoulder.
