Disclaimer! I don't know anything about touring or how any of this stuff works, so I'm so sorry if any of this information is wrong. But here's chapter 2! I made it longer than the first one, hope you enjoy!

(Nicole's POV)
Brendon wanted to introduce me to his best friend, Amelia. She sounds so cool. Everyone I met so far is really cool. At first when I found out I was gonna be the bass player for Panic! I was pretty nervous. I'm used to touring and playing bass everywhere, I don't know why this one felt different. I first met Brendon when he pretty much decided to interview me to become the bass player. I knew all the songs by heart and I also impressed Brendon by telling him that I wanted a beer to drink. He was like "okay, we're best friends now."
Dan, Kenny, and Zack basically had the same reaction and we all became fast friends, which made my nerves quickly fade away.
Currently, I'm at Brendon and his wife, Sarah's house. They wanted me to meet one of their best friends named Amelia. Amelia is a very pretty name and Brendon told me that she's such a nice person, so I can't wait. Plus, it's nice having another girl friend to hang out. Sarah and Zack's girlfriend Kala are already pretty cool, and I can't wait to have another badass female friend to hang out with on tour.
I was talking to Sarah about stage presence when Brendon shouted "she's here!" And ran out the door like a child waiting for their parent to come home and then running towards them.
He came back later and started introducing us, she was still looking at Brendon, so I looked at her. From what I can tell, she has a very nice side profile. I stand up and she turns to look at me.
"Hi! I'm Nicole. So happy to finally meet you, Amelia!" I say, putting my hand out in front of her for her to shake it and she does. Her hand seems to fit perfectly in mine and it sends gentle chills up my spine.
She smiled widely and I take in her pretty smile and white teeth. She has medium length dark brown hair that went a little past her shoulders, brown eyes, and pale skin.
"So-so nice to meet you too, Nicole! I can't wait to see you perform with Panic!" She says, slightly nervous, but still happy. Her nervousness makes me giggle and I see her smile widened, if possible. We both sit down on the couch next to each other and I look into her chocolate brown eyes
"Thank you! I'm honestly really excited! Everyone is so sweet and amazing and we only just met, but I already know you're sweet and amazing too."
Her cheeks turn a crimson color and she looks down for a second, before looking back up to me with a smile.
"Oh, thank you. But I'm not amazing." She replied with a sad smile.
Before I can even open my mouth to respond, Brendon chimes in by saying "Are you kidding?! You're an amazing person and amazing friend."
Sarah and I both nod our heads in agreement
Amelia then starts asking questions about how Brendon and I met, about touring, etc. We made eye contact the whole time and I could just tell she was genuinely interested in what I had to say. She had this bright smile on her face the whole time and her eyes were focused on me.
It's weird, whenever I speak to someone directly, I never make direct eye contact with someone without glancing over at other things. It gets me kind of nervous. But with Amelia, I didn't want to break eye contact. I wanted to stare into her dark brown eyes that seem deeper than the ocean. Those eyes that have depth in them.
"Is it just me or am I starving?" Sarah asks randomly, while gently petting her dog Bogart.
"I definitely am. I could eat a horse." Brendon jokes, standing up from the couch and going into the kitchen.
"Well I was thinking that the four of us could all out and grab some lunch together. Amelia, Nicole, would that be okay?" She asks, taking Bogart off her lap to stand up.
"I could eat." I say. The truth is that I wasn't really all that hungry, but I  wanted to go out and have fun with my new friends. Especially Amelia. There's something about Amelia that's charming to me and I want to know more about her.
"I need to eat. I've been eating ice cream and nothing else for I don't know how long. I need real food." Amelia says, standing up.
I gently giggle. "Why you were eating ice cream?"
All of a sudden, her face suddenly drops, like she just witnessed someone kick her puppy.
"Oh, her girlfriend broke up with her Nicole. Amelia, I forgot to ask you how you were holding up?" Brendon responded.
I stop in my tracks and look at Brendon and Amelia. Did he just say "her girlfriend?"
Yep, he did.
She looks a bit panicked when Brendon said that. As if she didn't want me to know or as if she was mortified. I don't know if she'll think I'll judge her for it, because no way.
After all, I am the same way. She's into girls, just like I am. A warm, bubbly feeling starts up in my stomach and I feel like I can trust her. Like I can tell her anything.
"Why the hell would she break up with you?" The words slip out of my mouth before I can stop them.
"She was cheating on me." She responded sadly and my heart nearly broke.
"I'm so sorry. She's not worth it then. You deserve someone better, much better." I put my hand on her shoulder gently, feeling the exposed skin. It was smooth and soft and it felt electric.
"I know I do." She gave me a sad smile. "It was just hard to deal with it."
"I know how it feels honestly. My girlfriend, well ex now, broke up with me too. She never really loved me like I loved her." Amelia looks shocked when I said this.
"Wait... you like girls too?"
A smile forms across my face and I nod.
From behind me, I hear Brendon whisper to Sarah, "aww sparks."
Amelia must've heard it too, because her eyes widened slightly and her cheeks turned crimson.
The thing is though is that Brendon isn't lying.
"Let's go eat now, I'm hungry." Sarah says, walking out the door. The rest of us follow behind her.
"I'll drive." Brendon says, getting in the drivers seat while Sarah sits in the passengers seat. Leaving me and Amelia alone in the back seat.
While Brendon drives, her hand is on the seat while she looks out the window. It's tempting not to gently caress her hand and lace our fingers together, so I restrain myself from doing so.
Brendon pulls into some restaurant and I get a bit relieved that we're finally here. Amelia avoided looking at me the whole time we were driving and I wonder why. Her eyes were glued to the window, as if she was so fascinated about what was out there.
Fans of course recognized us, well mostly Brendon. They don't know I'm touring with him, yet there's probably gonna be questions about who this "mysterious woman with them" is. That's how the public works basically.
"Omg you're Brendon Urie! Hi!" One Of  The servers at the restaurant notices. Brendon smiles and greets her back kindly.
"We'd like a table please. And also some peace by not being noticed please." It was the first time Amelia had said something since we left and I gently raise an eyebrow out of impressment.
The server looks at Amelia and stutters, "oh okay, fo-follow me please."
We get a table at the back of the restaurant and the server lady, whose name tag reads Danielle, apologizes.
"No don't apologize!" Brendon reassured her. "I love all my fans and I appreciate you being a fan. We all do, right guys?"
He looks at us and we all smile and nod our heads in agreement. But I was too focused on Amelia to listen to Danielle's response. She sat across from me, next to Brendon, and Sarah sat next to me, across from Brendon. She looked at the menu on the table and I picked up mine, not to look at the choices, but to make it seem like I'm not checking her out while I check her out.
Sarah nudged me on the shoulder and I quickly snap back into reality.
"I'm sorry, what?"
"We asked what you would like to drink." Sarah gives me a knowing smirk and I shiver. Oh god, what if she knows I was checking out Amelia?
"I'm taking a beer, do you want one?" Brendon asked. I quickly nod my head in agreement.
Immediately when Danielle leaves, Sarah starts talking to Brendon about something her friend Linda did at some party, this gives me the perfect opportunity to try and talk to Amelia since she's been quiet for some odd reason. I can't help but feel like I'm the blame. She started her silent treatment right after I mentioned her breakup with her girlfriend. That still pisses me off honestly. Like who could break up with someone so sweet and lovely like Amelia?
"Amelia, I just wanted to say that was pretty badass of you to say that to the waitress." I tell her, putting the menu down.
"How?"
"Well, by saying that we wanted peace and quiet, you know... without all the fans." I give her a smile and to my delight, she returns it.
"Oh, thank you. Right after I said it though, I was afraid that I sounded rude or something and I was worried you'd think that."
Aw, so she was thinking of me...
"No of course not! You're so nice and sweet..." her hand was on the table and feeling brave, I gently slide my hand across the table to lace our fingers together. I was expecting her to pull her hand away, but was pleasantly surprised when she didn't pull away, but she gave me a shy smile and with her free hand, pulled some stray hair out of her face.
"I knew I sensed sparks." Brendon laughed, resulting in Sarah giving him a look saying to shut up. But unlike last time at the house, I didn't feel myself blushing and neither did Amelia.

End of chapter 2! This one was longer than the last one, almost 2K words! Also, is there anything y'all would like to see in this book? I already have ideas, but I would also like to know what you guys think. Hope you all enjoyed this chapter and the next one will be coming soon!
