I woke up, my body rocking back and forth in my seat. I looked up and glared at Josh.

"I'm trying to sleep, asshole."

"we're here. look." he pointed out the window of the SUV, starry eyed like a kid. I turned to look at our new home. it was gorgeous, and I had no clue I could love somewhere other than home. this was almost six hours away from the city, the population 17,392. after a while of driving, I had started seeing more and more fields of corn, soy beans, wheat, and sunflowers.

I jumped out of the car as soon as we stopped and grinned. I went to the truck with all our stuff and grabbed a few of my boxes.

"mom, where's my room?" I asked. she smiled softly.

"you get to pick from downstairs. downstairs is for you guys. the upstairs will be for adults, and guest rooms. you may go upstairs, of course, but only if you need something. and you have to follow more stricter rules up there."

"what about in the middle?" Nick asked from beside me.

"you'll see." she said, a twinkle in her eyes. I squealed and ran for the house, boxes in hand. I gasped, stepping inside. there was a large room with coat racks and shoe racks along the walls in cubbies, each with a different color. straight ahead was an open double door with a hallway that branched in different directions.

to the right was an open staircase going up, and to the left was a smaller, less impressive staircase going down. I went down those ones and grinned. it spun in a half circle, opening up halfway down. there was a large living room with a couple of black leather couches and bean bags. one playstation4 sat under the large, wall sized tv.

there were five rooms about the same size. I picked the one with the private bathroom since I only have brothers and um, hello, girl requirements... the other four shared a bathroom, one to two rooms. a large king sized bed was in my room, with a small closet, but an area of shelves built into the wall so they weren't in the way. my tv was mounted on the wall with a small shelf directly under it with my playstation3 and remotes. against the wall under my tv was my desk with my large computer on it. my laptop sat off to the side on the desk.

I started unpacking. after all, I had a new school to start in the morning. and that was stressful enough without having to come home and unpack some more. ________________________________

I had finished unpacking around midnight since we got here around supper time. I finished by putting my fuzzy, soft comforter on my bed and admiring it all.

"how are you done packing already?" I turned to see Blake looking at my room in admiration.

"I don't stop to play playstation when I get it out. I put it away and then continue." I smirk. he glared at me and stuck out his tongue.

"I came to say good night. and also, here's your schedule for classes tomorrow." he said, handing me a sheet of paper. before I could say thanks, he turned and left my room, heading to his own.

I sighed and left my room, exploring the rest of the house. through the main double doors, and down the left hall was another living room, but without a tv. instead, it had a piano for Nick's hobby. the entire living room had huge windows, making it a very light, open room. outside, on the back of the house, was a large pool with a lap lane, and slide.

back down the hallway, was the kitchen and dining room. upstairs, was a large living room with a tv in one corner with couches and chairs, a bar in the other corner. there was a pool table and a round table with poker chips on it. there were two guest rooms further down the hall and then mom and dad's insanely huge room.

I went back to my own room and put on a large t shirt, taking off my shorts and bra. I laid down and sighed before I turned off the light and fell asleep.

"Violet, baby. your alarm clock is going off. I'm actually surprised you set it this time instead of relying on me." mom said, shaking me gently. I opened my eyes to the gentle light filtering in from the living room. I could see my brothers in their underwear, dropping their bookbags and sports gear outside their door so they don't forget it. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. mom left my room and went back upstairs.

I stood up and pulled out a pair of jeans and a white, grease stained tank top. I don't have anything nice clean. so I guess the shirt I use to work on cars will do. I pulled my jet black hair up into a ponytail and put on the combat boots my mom gave me. I shoved in my notebooks and other stuff for school into my bag and dropped it outside my door.

then I gathered up my gym bag. I grabbed my old, ripped backpack and put in my boxing gloves, wrap, and swimming gear. I dropped them outside my door and went to brush my teeth and put on minimum makeup, eyeliner and mascara.

then I grabbed my bags and went upstairs. mom was standing in the main room by the coat racks. my brothers bumped into me and then looked at mom with me.

"these racks are for your backpacks, coats and shoes. everything you need for school the next day, put here and then you won't have to dig for it in the morning." she shook her deadly claw at us. "I don't want to hear any more late notices unless you have a damn good excuse."

we all nodded and filed out the door, grabbing a poptart on our way. we got into Josh's truck and threw our sports gear in the back. I got the front seat and smirked at Blake and Nick's pouty expressions.
