with Emma's help, I shaped my eyebrows so they were no longer bushes growing on my face, and helped me do my makeup for the day.

"now remember to redo your makeup after gym and after your sports practices." she reminded me. I stuffed the makeup into my gym bag and nodded. she also helped me pick an outfit that matched my personality, but was also cute. the more I hung out with my new friends, the more I became a girl instead of a boy in a girl's body. She put me in a black cropped tank top and camouflage pants. I topped it off with my combat boots my mom gave me.

then we all piled into Faith's car and went to school earlier than my brothers, who were still eating.

this time, stepping onto the school grounds, everyone was staring again, but with a different look on their faces. yesterday, they had looked amused, and a little bit scared after I punched my way through the hall. but now they stared at me in amazement and shock.

I walked, Emma and Lily next to me, Faith and Rachel trailing behind us shyly. I held my head high, confidence radiating off of me. I scanned over the kids, spotting all kinds of groups. there was the group of bleach blonde girls, a group of football jocks, shy girls with books, boys with cigarettes and finally, my gaze slid to the group of kids who were obviously bad.

they all wore leather jackets and biker boots. they kept to themselves and they turned away from me, not giving two fucks. except for one of the boys. his hair was shaggy, black curls piling on top of his head. he wore a black leather jacket and standing with his arm around a girl about my height, I could tell he was tall. and even from here, I could see his emerald green eyes.

I met his gaze and held it as I passed by before Emma snapped me away from him by stopping at a bench and pushing backpacks off of it so we could sit. we sat down, ignoring the dirty looks from the guys we had pushed off the bench.

"so I was thinking, we need to hang out after school again today, because I won't be able to later in the week. my aunt and cousins are staying at our house for a few day so today is the last day of this week I can hang out after school." Rachel said, bringing our attention to her. she was always so quiet. I'm surprised she wasn't with the girls with books. but then again, maybe she just hasn't entirely warmed up to me yet.

"ya, we should totally do that." Emma said.

"I'm in." Faith raised her hand.

"same." Lily said softly, nodding her head.

"what about you, Violet?" Rachel asked. "can you hang out again today?"

"no, sorry." I said, looking down. "I just got my transmission for my truck and I'm going to work on it tonight."

"oh, ok." Emma said. "another night then."

"ya." I said, nodding. they went on to talk about going shopping tonight since I wasn't going. I hated shopping. they went on and on about the dresses they wanted or couldn't afford. about boys they liked or had asked them out. I looked up to spot the black haired guy looking at me again. I met his gaze as my lips parted slightly.

completely straight faced, he watched me as his girlfriend attempted to capture his attention. she finally looked my way and her face went from annoyed to pissed. she moved, making my attention shift from him to her. and that was not a fun thing to see, her storming my way with all hell on earth in her gaze.

she stomped to a stop two feet away from me, and glared down into me. I looked directly in her eyes and purposefully leaned back, leaning my arm on the bench. her dirty blonde hair fell to the length of mine and her icy blue gaze would've terrified anyone. but I wasn't anyone.

"got a problem blondie?" I asked, leaning my head on my hand. her mouth dropped open and I could easily see the challenge in her eyes. only then did I realize that everyone close enough to notice her, was dead silent. except for that guy who sneezed.

"you must be new here." she snarled.

"oh yes, I am. I actually got kicked out of my other school for lighting my teacher's desk on fire." I said casually. I actually had done that, but I was just moved to a different high school in the city. my parents had thought that was hilarious. they obviously know how to have fun.

"well, you might have been the bad there, but here, you've got nothing on me. I will beat the shit out of you until you can't take any more." she threatened.

"bring it. I've known you for two minutes and I'm already sick of your fucking know it all bitchy attitude." I rose to my feet, my deadly gaze penetrating her soul. we were the same height other than maybe two inches.

"you might want to stop making googly eyes at my man and back down before you get hurt, girl." she said.

"you know what? I think I knew you were a bitch from the second I stepped onto the sidewalk, just by that collar alone. I mean, everyone knows a bitch has to be on a leash before she scratches someone."

"I could say the same." she grinned.

"I'd chew through my leash just so I could tear you to shreds." I barked. she narrowed her eyes.

"you'd better take back that threat before your face gets all messed up." she said, the rage in her gaze. however hot her fury was burning, mine was a million times hotter. the fire licked the insides of me, sending heat waves through my arms and legs, screaming to attack.

"I think you need to back down, you bitch face." I snarled.

she screamed at the top of her lungs in pure hatred, acting on impulse. she charged at me, he shoulders down, aiming to slam into my gut.

I grinned, a devilish feeling in my soul.
