Sebastian walked through town, trying to find his master, Ciel, some new clothing. The butler didn't like being to far away from his master, but it couldn't be helped, and he continued looking. Eventually he came across the shop he always goes to for clothes. It had a gray brick pattern exterior, and inside was a beautiful silver and white interior. Sebastian entered, and began shopping, not knowing what was happening at the manor.

Ciel was at the manor, peacefully doing his paperwork. The servants were outside doing whatever the hell they do in their spare time, so that left the Earl all alone. He enjoyed the quiet walls of his mansion, but he longed for Sebastian to get back. He was planning on telling him something, but he didn't know how he would react to it. But as he was signing his name, a crash came from outside the room. Ciel looked up, curious, only to see the door to his study be broken down.

His eyes widened. What the hell? In front of him were three men, each in all black. One of them, the tallest and most older looking of the trio, took out a sharp knife and pointed it in Ciel's direction. "Get him!" he ordered. The other two nodded and raced to Ciel, knocking him out of his chair, causing a loud thud on the floor. Still paralyzed in fear and confusion, he didn't realize the tall man was in front of him until he said, "The Queen's guard dog."

Ciel glared up at him. "Who the hell are you? Get out of my manor!" the teen snapped. The two men who had shoved him down were now pinning him to the floor so he couldn't get up. The older man chuckled lightly. "Who we are isn't important, all that is is that we have come to erase you," he growled. His voice was raspy and deep, and his eyes were narrowed and angry. Ciel didn't understand what was going on, but because of his pinned hands he couldn't call Sebastian. With a jolt he realized that if he died right here and now, he could never tell his butler how he felt. How he loved him. How he wanted to hold and kiss him. But he couldn't.

"Alec, Jackson, keep the little brat down," the man snarled. The two men looked up in reply. "Yes, Derrick," they responded in unison. Derrick knelt down so he was at Ciel's level, visibly reminding the Earl how short he was. His hand with the knife was stretched out, prepared to stab any second. Although keeping a fierce image, Ciel was afraid. "I suppose we should have entered in a more furtive manner," Derrick hissed. "It would have given us the advantage of surprise."

Ciel kept glaring. "Get out of here, bastard!" he shouted bitterly. But nothing would have worked. Derrick's knife was inching closer and closer by the second, and eventually it was shoved into the Earl.

Pure pain entered him. He felt his skin rip as the knife went deeper, and he could feel the warm blood slowly stream out from his chest. He gasped as Derrick went deeper, and coughed once the knife was removed. Crimson stained his clothing, and he felt his arms be released, indents covering his wrist. He slumped to the floor as he heard Derrick, Alec, and Jackson leave through the window. Ciel was coughing up blood onto his brown floor, changing it to a mahogany color. Shaking harshly, he managed to rip off his eye patch that kept the contract seal hidden. "Se..bas..tian..." was all he make out, his throat soon filling up with blood once more.

After only a few seconds the demon was at his master's side. "My lord!" he exclaimed, helping Ciel up so his head was resting on Sebastian's lap. Blood drooled onto the butler, but he didn't care. He searched his mind frantically for a way to save Ciel, but there was nothing. After only a moment or two, Sebastian heard a quiet voice sing:

"And I'm still waiting for the rain to fall
Pour real life down on me
Cause I can't hold on to anything this good
enough
Am I good enough for you to love me too?"

Soon he realized Ciel was singing. He could hear his master's voice breaking on the last two lyrics, causing tears to form in Sebastian's eyes. Soon he didn't care if he was disobeying an order. He should never call his master his, but..

"Ciel, you're more than good enough," he murmured. "Of course I love you."

A small smile formed on Ciel's face. "I..love you..Sebastian..." he whispered. "Shh," Sebastian said soothingly. "Don't speak."

"I love you too, Ciel.." Sebastian leaned forward and kissed his master. Instantly the teen kissed back, wrapping his arms loosely around his neck. Sebastian pulled away slowly, and saw Ciel crying. He knew his master didn't want to, but the demon knew he was dying. Soon the small body went cold, the beautiful blue eyes shutting as he faded away.

Sebastian held him close. Slowly, he sang dismally:

"I will stay forever here with you my love
The softly spoken words you gave me
Even in death our love goes on
And I can't love you anymore than I do..."
