"Finally!" the girl exclaimed, stretching her tired arms upward.

The other students looked at her and smiled in agreement as they gathered up their stuff to go home. She stayed seated and began to clean up her work station.

"Hey, Luna, what'cha doing after school?" a voice asked as she bent over to put a mixing bowl up.

As she straightened to answer, a timer went off; signaling for her to retrieve her baked goods from the oven. Her teacher walked over to Luna and the student talking to her.

"Is it done then?" She asked, placing her notebook with her students grades in it on the table.

Luna put the blue checked oven mitts on her hands and opened the oven, leaning back to let the hot air rush out. She reached in and pulled out a  casserole dish, three green beans on top. She smiled at her teacher and covered it with its glass top.

"Its all done now, Mrs. Saltea. Your family has dinner." Luna smiled, placing the hot dish in a cloth covered basket.

"You're a lifesaver, Luna. I just need to drop this off at the house then head to that teacher conference." the teacher sighed, rushing to her desk and gathering up supplies and notebooks.

Luna turned to the student that had addressed her. The girl was just sitting down drawing in her sketchbook, humming quietly.

"Dia, you didn't have to wait." Luna chuckled, turning off the oven and walking to another students work station.

"Its fine. My bus is always late so its ok to just wait for it here since the Home Ec. annex is so close to the bus stop." Dia looked up and grinned, "Plus I get to smell all the wonderful things you've been baking."

Luna laughed, brushing a strand of straight dark brown hair out of her face. She opened the oven and pulled out two large dishes, warmed by the ovens low heat. She set the dishes down and flicked the oven off, closing the ovens' door.

'Bus 36 is now approaching. All students riding said bus please head to the bus off/on ramp' the intercom said.

"Aww! We didn't get a chance to talk and stuff." Dia sighed out, flipping her notebook closed and placing the pencil in her backpack.

"I know the truth though. You are just after my rolls and cookies." Luna said, lifting a small bag filled with the goodies she had baked.

"You know me too well, Lun~a." she agreed, slinging her pack over her shoulder and taking the bag.

She reached in and grabbed a roll, taking a bite out of it. Dia looked at Luna with a dreamy smile on her face.

"Marry me." Dia said, devouring the roll quickly.

Luna laughed loudly and pushed her towards the door.

"Nope, so sorry, Dia. Why ruin this wonderful relationship you have with food?" she chuckled, "You'll miss your bus if you stay here any longer."

"Oh snap! You're right!" Dia said, shooting off out the door, throwing a good-bye over her shoulder as the door shut behind her.

Luna smiled and began to clean the stations up, noting that the teacher had already left. She gathered all the things she had made and proceeding to her backpack hanging on the wall.

"There you are, Lu. I thought you had left already." a voice called out when she left the annex.

"Nope, was just finishing up a few things. How come you're still here, Zero? You are usually the first person to leave." Luna asked looking at the boy who approached her.
