"Well you know the best thing about killing a boss right?" Sora asked, looking around at his comrades, "Afterwards we can just warp back to town. Isn't that great?"
"Just awesome. Now shut up and help us fight this thing!" Nix replied, running in and slashing at the tall monsters' ankles.
Luna quickly shot off three arrows, each one aimed at the creature's head; one hitting it in the eye. Gigaz hefted his axe and buried it into the monster's chest, Kaodin slicing into the creature's belly. They had been fighting monsters for hours, gaining levels and learning skills quickly. After they defeated this monster, Luna slumped down, breathing heavily.
"Ay-ya, Kao. You sent us into a monsters' nest. Is this deliberate?" She humphed out, trying to catch her breath.
Nix and Gigaz stood next to her, wiping their blades free of ooze and grime. Creeper was in front of Luna, fanning her with a big leaf he had picked up. Sora and Cien looked at the skeleton with cocked eye brows, each look identical to the other.
"I didn't know that this was a high spawning point for the monsters." Kaodin admitted, looking somewhat at odds with himself.
They rested for a bit before they continued their journey, coming to a clearing in the forest.
"This is great! We're almost to the brigde, if I remember correctly." Kaodin exclaimed, as the group looked around for any monsters.
"It looks like there was a huge battle here." Cien observed, looking at the upturned earth and broken trees.
"Help...us. Please..." a weak voice called to them, barely getting the attention of the group.
They searched the bushes for the weak voiced person and found two injured people, both wearing black clothing.
"Oh my! Lay them out on the ground and do it very gently please." Luna said firmly, reaching into her bag and pulling out her first aidkit that she had gotten for free.
Gigaz put the two down, laying them next to each other. Both had on face masks, the masks were all scratched up. Luna tossed a canteen at Sora while tossing a small bowl at Cien.
"Go get me some water from the river, please." She said, rifling through the kit.
Sora and Cien looked at each other then down at the object in their hands. Luna looked up and pinned them with a cold gaze.
"They've been poisoned and need to have their wounds cleaned before I use an antidote on them." she explained, "Now I asked nicely for you to get me some water. Kao, go with them so they don't get lost."
"Yes, ma'am!" Kaodin saluted Luna then walked off, grabbing Sora's and Cien's robe cuffs; pulling them with him.
As soon as they where out of view, Luna turned to Nix and Gigaz.
"Guys, we'll be here for a bit. Can anyone of you prepare a fire, please?" She asked, unrolling guaze.
"On it." Gigaz said, lumbering off.
"I'll make the pit for the wood to burn safely." Nix said, starting to gather up stones.
"Thank you, Nix." Luna replied while gently taking off one of the injured person's masks, "Oh my! The mask only helped so much."
Luna smoothed back his indigo blue hair, looking at the scratches on his face. She went to the other person and took off their mask too. As she pulled off the mask, she looked down at pain filled silver eyes. Luna pulled the silver violet hair out of the injured person's face, tucking the hair behind her elven ears. When the person tried to get up, Luna pushed her back down.
