===Aleks' POV===
"Aleks...there's something I'd like to tell you." my girlfriend, Jessie, said to me. I look at her and smile. Our night had been going great so far, with lots of celebrations and things like that. She didn't seem that happy, but I assumed that it was just something to do with "Lady Problems" or whatever. "What is it babes?" I asked, still smiling because I thought she was going to say something cute about our 1 year anniversary. But no. She looked me dead In the eyes and sighed (she'd been doing that a lot that night), before saying "I don't think we should be together. Basically what I'm trying to say Aleks is...I don't have feelings for you anymore."
"Wh-what? But...you...you said you loved me!" I shouted, feeling a few tears gather in my eyes. I was starting to attract some stares but I didn't care at that moment. She gave me a cold, hard look, before snapping.
"Don't be such a baby Aleks, people fall in and out of love all the time. I was going to be gentle, but I've just realized how much of a loser and a crybaby you are. So I suppose I'll tell you the full truth. I've been cheating on you for the last 4 months, ok?" she stood up suddenly, and walked out the door. I stared after her with the tears threatening to fall, and that was when I noticed all the pitying glances of other people in the restaurant. "What are you looking at!?!?" I shouted angrily at them, and they turned away quickly, muttering to eachother. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a waiter coming towards me. He gave me a sympathetic glance, before saying to me "sir, I know how hard breakups can be, but I am assuming that you are done? Because if this is true, I must ask you to pay please."
I nod, feeling slightly numb, and grab a handful of notes out of my wallet before mumbling "keep the change" and walking out, getting into my car and driving home.
