"Yes you can Jac! Stay with me! Please!" A few tears escaped Fletch's eyes as he held the limp woman in his arms.
"Can we make some room please guys!" The paramedic asked as he dumped his bag down beside the couple and everyone who had gathered around were moved back to the pews. Sacha and Fletch stayed clutching a hand each as they knelt by her side, encouraging her to keep talking.
"Fl...Fletch..." Jac whispered weakly.
"I'm right here sweetheart. Keep talking to me okay?" He replied and squeezed her hand and her eyes opened again to gaze up into his.
"Fletch...I l...love you." He smiled down at her as the paramedics got to work.
"I love you too but you've got to keep strong and get this baby out of you so we can get married." He laughed as she smiled up at him.
"Sorry Sir, I'm going to have ask you to move back a little please if that's okay." The other Paramedic turned to face Fletch with a kind smile and watched as he bent down to kiss his fiancé on the forehead.
"I'm going to be just over here now okay? I need to let the Paramedics do their job and they can't do that if my buns of steel are in the way can they eh?" He squeezed her hand again and stepped away, Sacha following suit.
"Go and check on the kids now yeah? I'll stay with Jac for a bit whilst they sort her out." The doctor patted Fletch's arm and nodded in the direction in which the five children were sat with Zosia and Fletch's parents.
"You need to leave. Right now Jonny." Sacha turned to face Jonny, his anger finally showing. He watched as the man walked out of the church clutching a bloody tissue to his probably broken nose, knowing he was beaten.

Fletch slowly made his way over to where Evie was sat and thanked her for being so brave and looking after her siblings. All five children bundled into their father's arms, wrapping themselves around his waist.
"Mummy will be okay won't she?" Ella asked quietly. In the moment none of the family had noticed that Ella had just called Jac Mummy for the first time due to their pure concern for the baby and it's mother. Suddenly an ear piercing scream elicited from where Jac was laid at the front of the church and Fletch immediately abandoned the family hug to run back to her side.
"She's going to fine Ella, don't worry. She's just screaming because the baby is trying to get out. It won't be long now okay." Evie tried to explain to her younger sister as she clung to her side, hiding her face in her dress at the sound.

Essie watched silently as the siblings clung to each, seeking comfort in the eldest sister and made a quick decision.
"Sacha?" Essie called the man over to her to discuss her plan. "I think we should take the kids home, can you come with me please?" She asked her friend.
"Of course I will. Fletch will be with Jac and there isn't much I can do so I might as well make myself useful." Sacha replied and walked over to Fletch's parents. "I think it would be best if you guys went to the hospital with them, Fletch will need you both. Essie and I will look after the kids so don't worry about them." He explained and squeezed both of their arms.

Not long later, Jac was on a stretcher being taken into the ambulance with Fletch by her side and Karen and Steven Fletcher were climbing into their car to drive them both to meet their son there. Sacha walked back to the front of the church where guests were still gathered with worried expressions but not quite knowing what to do now.
"Hi everyone. So due to what's just happened, I'm guessing the wedding will be rescheduled for a later date." The group chuckled and he continued. "I will keep you all updated with any news I receive and I suppose you may as well all go home. Or back to work in some people's cases." He looked directly at Dom and Lofty as they grinned. They had begged and pleaded to have a few hours off, mainly just so that they could spend more time together. Even though Dom wouldn't admit it, he had also wanted to come to get some ideas for their own wedding planning.

"Come on then mister, lets get back to work." Dom said sadly as he linked arms with his fiancé and led them out of the church. They walked in silence as they made their way down the road back to the hospital until Dom spoke up again. "So. For our wedding. I don't want any pregnant women giving birth before we've said our vows. I don't want any ex's turning up and fighting you. But there's one thing I do want..." He trailed off with a smug smile as Lofty raised an eyebrow.
"And what would that be?" The other man asked.
"I want to wear a big white dress!" He exclaimed and then burst into giggles as Lofty laughed disbelievingly at him.
"Of course you do." He replied and rolled his eyes playfully.
