First Kiss

Camp Wampanug

I woke up to a few hushed giggles in my cabin. Rolling over, I saw a group of girls sitting on my friend, Kaylee's, cot.

I sat up, rubbing my eyes, as Maya rushed over to me. Her eyes glimmered in the moonlight with excitement.

"What?" I asked her, lazily.

"Tony Romo," she paused, searching for my reaction, "is going to kiss Kaylee tonight!" She could hardly contain herself and I looked over to the group of girls; some were surrounding Kaylee and others peeped out of the mesh door every few seconds, giggling.

"Why?" I had finally woken up, and Maya shrugged at me returning to the group. I searched the room for our counseler; she was snoring on the opposite end of the room.

I shuffled to the mesh door and reached for the indent to open it. One of the girls blocked my move and glared at me.

"Where are you going? Tony Romo is coming over here right now," she snapped and another girl nodded.

"I have to pee," I said sheepishly. She gave me a long glare before letting me past her.

I'm sorry that my pee troubles you, I thought as I walked down the creaky, wooden porch that led to our cabin.

I crossed through the crunchy, leafy pathway to the bathrooms. The bathrooms were closer to the Shaney cabins (boys cabins) and it took a good few minutes to cross through the trees and paths.

Just as I passed the big oak tree with the "Camp Wampanug" sign on it, I heard leaves crunch and a loud thud. I turned around a second too late to see at least four figures in the cover of darkness.

One of the shadows was pushed into me and I felt lips upon my own. I squirmed at the touch of his warm lips, and I heard loud whoops and hollers from the others. But, neither of us pulled away and a thought crossed through my mind and made me shudder. Tony Romo.

As I jerked away, the camp street lights flickered on and I saw his blue eyes filled with terror. His mouth was agape and we both looked at each other for a little bit, in shock.

Logan Brooks. Thank god it's not Tony and a boy just kissed me! both crossed my mind, simultaneously.

"I-I," he stumbled before his friends pulled him away, dragging him back to the cabins. Before Jared disappeared, he looked back at me with the same expression, but slightly smiling.

"Was that Logan Brooks!"

"Oh my god! Logan kissed Kaitlin!"

"Ew! She's not even pretty.."

I felt my eyes tear up and I ran off towards the bathrooms, crying. The door flew open as I looked at my disheveled self in the mirror. My face was red and my eyes were itchy..and looking down at my shorts I found that they were soaked -- out of embarrassment.

Author's note: Yes, this is a flashback. By the way, that last line isn't meant to be a funny thing..she peed her pants out of embarrassment -- :( #actuallysad

I think you guys will really like this story if you ship Logan Lerman and Lily Collins -- because Kaitlin in Lily & Logan is Logan. (bæ) 💋 (Doesn't the cover resemble them?! IKR.)
