Recovery

The recovery process was slow and painful to watch. It has been 3 days since we rescued Ashton and he has slept for two days and woke up for and hour to have a drink and then went back to sleep. I don't know how long this we last but all I'm saying is that I want my happy cheerful Ashton back. He is still tired and bruised. Mum says that it will take him a while to forget about the traumatic experience he has had for the past week. He have very clearly no had alot of sleep. I keep on checking on home. I have left his side.

Suddenly there was a massive yawn. I looked over at the bed to see Ashton waking up.

"Hi Ashton. are you ok?" I asked, probably not the best question but...

He cracked a small little smile and sat up very slowly.

"How long was I asleep for?" He asked

"3 days"

"Do I have to go back to that horrible family" He added

"No baby, you can stay here" I answered.

Another smile wiped arcoss his face

Were finally together.....

Guys, this is the end of the story, hope you enjoyed. I might make a sequel to this about how they both move to Australia and they face the up-rising challenges ahead. I enjoyed writing this, please follow me and good day/night
