"Cheers!" The two exclaimed in Cantonese, earning a few stares from the others since it was just two men happily spending their night, although they ignored them afterwards.
"To a shit ton of work in the future!" Jackson raised his glass one more time before downing his glass.
"And a fatter pay check!" Mark mimicked Jackson's action, scrunching his face in disgust as the familiar taste of alcohol lingered.
"Don't leave me." Jackson slurred, placing his arms in front of him, his forehead hitting the table, making a thud noise.
"I won't," Mark giggled.
"But you leave China in a week while I still have to stay here for the next ten days." Jackson lifted his head, showing his pout.
"But Gucci's waiting for me."
"Don chu care about mwah?"
"We see each other everyday." Mark bluntly said, taking another sip of his glass. "What's there to miss?"
With his arms between the table and his chest, Jackson gave Mark the most 'adorable' pout his sobering mind could muster.
"I miss my cat," Mark sighed.
"Really?" Jackson leaned back on his chair, slumping as he grew more weary as time goes by. "That's what you get from that?"
Mark giggled before placing his glass back on the table, "Bye Felicia."
"Who the fuck is Felicia?" Jackson said in a lower voice while Mark erupted in a fit of laughter, gaining almost everyone surrounding them. If it weren't for the music playing in the background, he would've filled the entire place with his laughter.
Jackson stared at Mark. His lips itching to stretch to his ears as Mark's eyed screwed shut, a sparkle in his eyes catching his attention once he opened them. The alcohol was doing them good, giving them all the help they need after days of endless projects.
"Hey," Jackson started, dying down Mark's giggles. "We're friends right?"
Mark stared at him at shock before giggling once again. "We've been working for like what? Half a year? Maybe?"
"So work buddies?"
"No silly!" Mark hit him in the chest, making Jackson let out a playful yelp. "Work buddies don't hang out after 12, get to have hotel sleepovers, spend over a thousand dollars of makeup just to see who'd put it on the best. Work partners don't just agree to wear matching pajamas to hangout and get to see their work partner's embarrassing childhood photos thanks to their parents."
"Don't remind me-" Jackson face palmed but Mark ignored him.
"And don't even get me started on how we met through the internet. Wait, no. I think it was our first conversation."
"The GIFs!" They both said in unison, poiting at the other then laughing at the fact that they were both thinking and said it at the same time.
"Man that felt like ages ago but at the same time not long ago."
"That's because it wasn't ages ago."
"What was the first gif you sent me? I don't remember. Although, I recall it annoyed me."
Jackson groaned, "Can we not talk about that? It's kinda embarrassing." Mark sent him a look of disbelief, "You? The Jackson Wang lowered his dignity for once?" Jackson chuckled before throwing a grape at him. "Ow!"
"Shut up."

Mark shuddered as a breeze went past him. He glanced at the beautiful city below. He really had to give it to whoever had the idea of setting the steakhouse at a breathtaking location.
"Wan Chai is beautiful," he breathed out, still looking at the scenario. Jackson looked at to where Mark was looking and nodded his head, "Indeed it is."
While Mark continued to admire the city lights, he was unaware of the attention Jackson was giving him.
The Chinese admired the way Mark's hair was now beautifully disheveled and swept at the side. His forehead, nose, and cheeks were glowing thanks to the blue and red lights from the inside.
Sometimes Jackson wondered if Mark knew he was that beautiful.
Mark has no one to tell him that everyday. Sure, Jackson wishes to be that person. But key word: wishes.
Unfortunately for him, it's not his job to do so in a different way.
Funny how he first wanted to just be with him simply because he thought he was the most sweetest cupcake of all. Damn how the world damned him first. Mark was just simply had angelic features- inside and out.
"Unfortunately."
"Hmm?" Mark hummed, his gaze now on Jackson. "Did you say something?"
He smiled then shook his head. "They're about to close up, I think. We should go now."
After agreeing with his decision, they both got it the car Jackson rented days earlier. Not wanting to deal of the hardships of commuting. Especially since they're names are getting more and more familiar in the area.
Jackson was the driver while Mark sat on the passenger seat. The ash haired male constantly rubbed his arms and hands to create warmth from friction. Jackson noticed Mark's attempts for warmth, silently wishing he could just grab his hands instead of switching the AC to the heater.
Mark gave him a smile, that heart pounding smile that won his heart, "Thanks."
No else has to see that kind of smile.
