Unexpected Surprises (Marichat) pt 2

Hello wonderful people! I have no new announcements at the moment so let's get started, shall we?

Chat's eyes widened. He couldn't believe what he was hearing.

"Wh-what did you..." he croaked out. He cleared his throat and tried again. "What did you just say?"

Marinette scoffed and looked down embarrassed. "Do I have to repeat it?" she whined.

Chat laughed. "Yes, Princess. Yes you do."

Mari groaned "Fine fine, I like you. A lot. Happy?"

Chat smirked and proceeded to lean very close to her. Marinette blushed at the close proximity. "Uh, what are you doing?"

He smiled and went close to her ear. "I like you too. And so does Adrien." he gave her a side eye glance.

"How would you know that?" Marinette tilted her head in confusion.

Chat smiled. "Because I am him." he whispered.

Marinette was in a daze. Out of all the things he could've said, she definitely did not expect that. 

"I, uh..." she trailed off not knowing what to say.

"You don't believe me?" Chat questioned, feigning hurt with a smile.

"No, no it's just," she shrugged, not knowing what else to do. "I didn't expect you to say that."

Chat laughed. "Well in that case, let me prove it to you." she smiled knowing what he was about to do. "Plagg, claws in."

In replacement of the hero was the model. Marinette couldn't help but smile at him and jumped on him for a tight hug.

"I'm glad it's you" she whispered.

"Me too." he whispered back.

As they sat there smiling, Marinette realized it wouldn't be fair if he told her who he was but he didn't do the same. She got an idea.

"Hey, I got a question." Adrien looked at her in curiosity.

"Yes?"

"If you had to pick who was Ladybug, who would you pick?"

Adrien thought about it for a moment.

"Well, I'd pick you. I mean besides the feelings I've had for her, I've also had feeling for you. I realized I was confused like you were. It'd be amazing if you were the same person. I know it sounds weird but..." he trailed off, not knowing what else to say. Marinette giggled.

"Close your eyes."

Adrien blinked in confusion. "What?"

Marinette giggled "Trust me, it's worth it."

"Um, ok?" Adrien didn't know what to expect but he still closed his eyes.

Marinette turned towards Tikki where she was hiding but still able to look at what's happening. She motioned her to be in her hands. Tikki understood and zipped over to be held in Marinette's hands. 

"Ok, Chaton you can open your eyes now."

Adrien opened his eyes. At first he didn't notice anything, but then he looked down and saw Tikki. He started laughing.

"That actually reminds me of-" his eyes widened in realization. "...Plagg." he looked at Tikki, then up at Marinette, then back down. He shook his head thinking it was a dream, but it was as real as it could get.

"So I was right." Adrien flashed that perfect smile. "It really was you."

Marinette chuckled. "It's kinda weird how it all happened. I expected it to be after we defeat Hawkmoth."

"But this just makes us stronger as a team, does it not?"

"Well, yes, but we have to be careful around others now. We can't afford to be exposed."

"I know, Bugaboo."

"You'll never stop calling me that will you?"

"Not until I can think of a better one."

"Of course."

There was a comfortable silence. "So, does this mean we're allowed to be together?"

Marinette laughed. "Ask me and find out."

Adrien smirked. "Will this lovely girl have the pleasure of being this boy's girlfriend?"

Marinette clutched her hand to her chest in mockery. "I thought you'd never ask," she smiled. "but yes, I'll be your girlfriend." she nodded in approval of the proposal.

"Good, because now I can do this." he leaned over and kissed Marinette with nothing but love and affection.

When they broke the kiss, they both sat there blushing and taking in what's happened.

"Well that was...unexpected."

"Unexpected surprises are the best kind, Princess."

So I might be off from Wattpad for some time because my mom said both me and my brother weren't allowed on both of our computers since school ended for us. Therefore, you shouldn't expect updates until school starts, but who knows if I'll even update then. But there's also plans of getting me a tablet while on vacation to visit some family, so if I end up with the tablet, I'll surprise y'all with updates. Other than that, have a great day and feel free to leave advice.
