In the distance, we could all hear the violent flapping of the dragons wings. The whole village burst into chaos and panic. For years we've fought these beasts, but never succeeded. I looked all around at the villagers, hopping onto horses back and riding out. All of the produce, bread, crops and meat flew into the air, as people panicked.
All I did was stand there, in utter awe. I couldn't move, my eyes were locked in place. The sound still ringing.
"Arabelle! Move it!" A firm voice ushered me,"do you want to melt?"
My older sister, she's my motherly figure. Her name is Akira. She normally has a
soothing, soft voice but her prominent tone of panic snapped me out of my phase.Before I could answer back, she grabbed my hand and ran towards my little brother, before snatching his. We ran until we found ourselves in the forest behind the village.
I watched as the dragon puffed our home up into smoke and flames...
