Locked up part 2

At the Unsubs apartment

"FBI OPEN UP." Morgan shouted. When Tobias Jr. did not open the door he kicked it in. The held their guns up and searched the apartment.

"Clear." Prentiss announced from the kitchen.

"All clear." JJ said in the bedroom.

"Clear." Hotch said from the bathroom.

"The house is clear." Morgan said. They start looking in cabinets and books. Hotch found a photo album with Reid's face on it.

"Guys come here. I found something." Hotch called. They gathered in the living room and sat down. They opened the album to see pictures of Spencer in there. Finally, they got to the last page and saw a picture of Reid in the hospital with a picture of a gun taped to it.

"Call Rossi. We need to get down there now." Hotch demanded. While they were in the trucks JJ called Rossi to warn him about Tobias Jr. and Morgan called Garcia so she could get eyes inside the building.

At the hospital

After Rossi got call he rushed to Reid's room because he was in the cafeteria. When he got to his room he shut and locked the door. He had to wait for the tam to get here because if he left Reid alone, he could be in serious danger.

He watched through the window to see if Tobias was in the hospital. He saw Hotch walk in and go to the front desk to see if Tobias Jr. came in.

"Excuse me. Have you seen this man?" Hotch asked the nurse. He was holding up a picture of him.

"Yes, he was just here. He asked for the room number of Dr. Spencer Reid and I told him that I couldn't give it to him because he was under federal protection." The nurse said.

"I need you to lock the doors and get all the innocent people in a safe room. Don't let anyone out that man is dangerous." Hotch replied walking away with his hand on his gun in his pocket.

"He is in the building, spread out, all exits are locked. No one can get in or out." Hotch said into his earpiece. They all searched the building looking for Tobias Jr.

Inside Reid's room, Rossi saw the door handle wiggle. He got out his gun and stood in front of the Reid. The door finally opened and Rossi saw Tobias Hankel Jr. "Put the weapon down or I shoot." Rossi yelled catching the attention of the team.

The whole team rushed to Spencer's room. "Put the gun down." Derek said behind him. He turned around and saw Morgan but he turned and aimed at Reid and shot Reid again. All of the team shot at Tobias and he crumpled to the ground.

"We need a doctor." JJ yelled. The doctor came rushing into the room and tried to stop the bleeding.

"We need to get him into surgery now. He is losing a lot of blood. Let's go." The doctor said. The nurses came in and took him away. The team went to the waiting room silently crying.

In the operation room

The doctor's were trying to stop the bleeding. After they stopped the blood flow Spencer coded. "He is coding. Get the paddles ready." They shocked him three times before they got a pulse.

Meanwhile in Reid's head

I saw my mom reading me one of my favorite books on her bed. We were just laying there together after my father left us. I loved it when we read together.

The scene changed to when I graduated high school. I was only twelve years old. The whole senior class looked huge compared to me. The students parents thought it was a joke until I went up to give the speech for Valedictorian.

Then I saw Gideon approach me after my FBI training to ask me to join the BAU. He said I had a lot of potential. I accepted the offer.

Suddenly I was at the BAU meeting Hotch, and Morgan. They thought I was to young to be in the FBI. I proved them wrong with one case.

I saw myself holding Henry after he was born. Then I saw him dressing as me for his halloween costume. I saw myself hugging JJ and Emily. Then I see myself coming back to the BAU after five years.

After all that I felt cold and darkness.

In surgery

"He is coding get the paddles ready." The head doctor said. They shocked him three times before his heart restarted.

In the waiting room

"Do you think he will make it?" JJ asked. They were all huddled together.

"He is strong. He won't give up." Morgan said. The doctor came out with his clipboard.

"Well Dr. Reid is out of surgery and we found medicine to cure his anthrax. We don't know how he will react but we are very hopeful." The doctor told the team.

They all let out a huge breath. They went into his room and waited to see if he would wake up.
