OC's POV

My name is Thomas White, and I got accepted into Beacon Academy based on my impressive skills as a fighter. I actually never went to a school for huntsmen before this, I just trained with my dad most of my life. He's a professional huntsmen so I had faith that I was receiving the best training. I was sitting in the back of the shuttle waiting to arrive at Beacon, I was wearing a red short-sleeved undershirt with a closed black gi over it. I also wore a pair of black pants to match my gi, and black boots with red boarders on them. Lastly I had a red sash tied over my waist and a pair of black fingerless gloves on to complete the outfit. Oh, I also have red eyes and white short spiky hair, which is probably why no one hasn't tried to talk to me yet.

My thoughts were finally interrupted when I heard the welcoming announcement for Beacon over the speakers of the shuttle. I noticed that a hologram of a middle-age looking woman started playing as the welcoming message continued. She had very light-blonde hair tied back in a bun with a curl hanging down the right side of her face. Her eyes are bright green and she wore thin ovular glasses. She had on dangling teal earrings that matched the hanging pendant on her collar. She was wearing a white long-sleeved, pleated top that had a wide keyhole neckline and gauntlet cuffs that flared in pleats at the wrist. Her lower body was covered by a black high-waisted pencil skirt with bronze buttons and black-brown stockings. She was wearing black boots with bronze heels, and a cape that was purple inside and black on the outside. The cut of the cape was stylized to end in flames and arrows, with a row of diamond-shaped bronze beads on the back. Above this line of beads appears an emblem of a tiara that was her personal symbol. I finally recognize her, after seeing her symbol, as Glynda Goodwitch a huntress teaching at Beacon.

I didn't bother paying attention to the message so I stopped listening to it. As I take my attention off the hologram, a person runs pass me and starts to throw up into a trash can. When he ran by I took noticed of his appearance. He had dark-blue eyes and short blond hair messily layered on his head with the right side of his hair nearing towards his right eye and the left side swept back. He wore a white diamond-shaped chestplate cut off above his lower abdomen and white spaulders with rerebraces set under them. Underneath the armor, he wore a black short-sleeved hoodie with detached reddish-orange sleeves. He also wore blue pants with a white patch on the left knee, as well as a pair of black sneakers. He had two belts crisscrossing his waist, both different shades of brown, with a pair of small pouches on them. He also wore brown wrist-length gloves with exposed fingertips and small metal plates over the back. He had a sword strapped to his left hip in a sheath. Man poor kid, if he can't handle air travel I can't manage how he'll handle Beacon.

I start to look at the other students on the shuttle to see what kind of future huntsmen I'll be meeting. I look over to my left and see two girls, who appear to be talking about something. One of the girls seemed very cheery while the other seemed annoyed by her. Both of the girls were fair-skinned, one of them had lilac eyes and bright golden hair worn loose that fades to pale gold at the tips with a cowlick sticking out at the top. She wore a tan jacket that bares her midriff, with golden brown piping and short, puffy sleeves with black cuffs that feature two gold buttons. Underneath that, she wore a low cut yellow crop top with an emblem on the left breast in black, and I swear I didn't mean to look at that. She also wore a brown belt covered by a pleated brown piece of material reaching from hip to hip around the back of her waist, with an emblem emblazoned on the right-most pleat in gold. Underneath that is a longer, white, asymmetrical piece of material reaching to her knee on the right side, as well as a pair of black mini-shorts. She wore a pair of brown, knee-high boots and orange over-the-knee socks, with the right sock pushed down just below the knee. A purplish-gray bandanna is tied around her left knee. An orange infinity scarf and black fingerless gloves complete her outfit.

The other girl had silver eyes and black, neck-length, choppy hair that gradates to dark red at the tips. She was actually wearing the same colors as me, she wore a long sleeved thick black blouse with a high collar and red trim on the sleeves, a black waist cincher with red lacing up the front, and a black skirt with red trim. She also wore a pair of thick black stockings and black combat boots with red laces, red trim around the top and red soles. Her outfit is topped by a red hooded cloak fastened to her shoulders by cross-shaped pins. She had an emblem, a large silver brooch and is pinned to a wide black belt slung around her hips on an angle.

I chose not to talk to them and continued to keep to myself for the rest of the ride, at least I thought I would. Out of nowhere the shuttle hit some turbulence and it caused me fall out of my seat and landing right in front of them. I stared up at them from the ground and it looked like they were going to say something.

???: Um... are you okay?

The red girl asked.

Thomas: Yeah, I'm fine.

???: Here.

The yellow girl offered me her hand, I grabbed it and she helped me up.

Thomas: Thanks. Sorry if I troubled you guys

???: No problem, it's not like it was your fault right?

The yellow girl said.

Thomas: Yeah, anyway I'm Thomas, Thomas White.

???: Nice to meet you Thomas, I'm Ruby and this is my older sister Yang. Were both going to Beacon together now.

The red girl introduced herself and her sister.

Thomas: Sisters? But you two look nothing alike, and Ruby how were you able to get into Beacon, you look like you must be fifteen at least?

Ruby: Well, we're half sisters and Professor Ozpin got me into Beacon early, and yeah, you're right about my age.

Yang: Yeah we get the 'sister thing' a lot.

Thomas: Really? Well it's good to know I wasn't the only one who got into Beacon early.

Ruby: What do you mean?

Thomas: Well, my father's a good friend of Ozpins and he got him to get me into Beacon early. I'm actually sixteen.

Yang: Really, that's so cool Thomas.

Thomas: Thanks Yang.

Ruby: Huh? That's strange.

Thomas: What is it Ruby?

Ruby: It doesn't look like you have any weapons Thomas?

Thomas: Well, I actually prefer to fight without a weapon. I feel like I'm not really getting any stronger when I use one.

Both: What?!

They both practically scream in my ear after hearing this.

Yang: You really don't use any weapons Thomas? That's awesome, you must be really strong, huh?

Thomas: Yeah, I like to think I'm pretty tough.

Ruby: Oh, Yang, gross, you have puke on your shoes!

Yang: Gross, gross, gross...

Ruby: Get away get away! Get away from me!

I stood there and watched the girls freak out over the puke and chuckled to myself. It looks like this school isn't gonna be too bad after all.
