It's barely Wednesday
The week's not-so-halfway-through-the-week day
The day where you say that you think more than you blink
And try to think all those stressful thoughts away
Wednesday to me is a reflection day of the week
Reflect on who you are and reflect on what you've done
Reflect on your mistakes that doesn't make you as bleak
Wednesday doesn't have to be your favorite day
It could be just as important as every day in every way
But it keeps you looking forward to the next day, and the next
And with every second it makes you check
If you're still willing to keep on living
With every hair you keep on trimming
When it's Friday, you celebrate goals
When it's Monday, you take on tolls
Of everything you've dreaded upon that day
Now it is barely Wednesday
Tuesdays are for tacos while Thursdays are for throwbacks
Although, that the reason for throwbacks are to reflect in a certain way
We don't think like that until Wednesday
It may help you realize its barely halfway through the week
You have forever to wait until Friday, but you know that there's no other way
You'll have to wait but not live through Monday
So thank goodness it's barely Wednesday
