I stared at his eyelashes. They are so perfect. I've always told him just how confused his nose is. Neither flat nor pointy. Somewhere stuck in the middle.
He is so handsome and... my wedding ring caught my eye. Shit. That happened. I am here. In Tyler's room. In our room? In his arms.
I smiled. I really do love him. After all this time, after all the lies. I touched his bare chest, his cheekbones, his lips. I trailed a finger across his features and felt the fluffiness inside of me.
My butterflies adapted and they've been floating around on cloud 9, as have I. I m just so tired... I dozed off and slept for what seemed like forever. This was the most peaceful I've been in a little more than a year.

I sat bolt upright in my bed. The baby is crying! What baby? I pushed my hair back and wiped my sleepy eyes. I need the loo. What is happening to me? What was that? Some kind of premonition?
I stared at the pregnancy stick. I need to tell him. Natalie knocked on the door. "Good morning, would you like a cup of coffee?"
Ugh, no. I would like to not dream again.
I reached for my phone and dialled Tyler's number. After the fight we had, I really needed to fix things.
"Tyler Vines." So cold and abrupt. So annoying.
"It's me. Alayna. Uh... we need to talk."
There was a pause.
"I think you've said more than enough."
I bit my lip, closed my eyes and proceeded.
"Tyler. I am pregnant and I want to fix us. We need to."
