Creepypasta Male Reader Insert

The Beginning

        It was an average day. I am 10 years old, today is my birthday. I walk downstairs, and I see everybody getting ready to go out. I smile as I get ready to get in the car. We are heading to one of my favorite places, the zoo. I always loved the aquatic exhibits, with the whale shark tank. It has a wide variety of other marine biology; Eels, seaweed, clownfish, rainbowfish, and more.

      We arrived at the zoo, getting out of the car to enjoy a wonderful time. We head to the aquatic section of the zoo, and I head to the large pool/tank with the whale shark. I lean over the railing and watch them swim around. As people walk and bump through the crowded paths, someone bumps into me, I get close to falling in before catching my balance and taking a step back to make sure I don't fall in. I sigh and relax when someone larger bumps into me, making me stumble over the railing to the exhibit. Keeping myself afloat on the surface of the water, I frown as I see my clothes are drenched. I start swimming to the near edge of the tank when I feel something curl around my left leg. I slow my swimming and look down to see the seaweed had tangled around my left leg. I hold my breath and go under to untangle it when the stalk next to it tangle around my right arm. I try to untangle that one as I continue to get more tangled up with each movement. I start to panic and thrash as I try to get free. My breath slowly runs out, my lungs feel as though they are burning. The burning feeling spreads through my chest and up my throat. I stop thrashing and scream under the water as I feel another pain seeping through my neck, on the surface, leading down to my lungs, like I was going through a surgery while conscious. The pain slowly lessened, as the the burning sensation dissipated. My neck felt weird, like it was pulsing as my lungs weren't just fill with water, but seemed to be taking it in and letting it out, almost naturally.

      After another what felt like five minutes or so, someone found me, and helped me out. My body felt heavy, and the air was cold. My chest tensed as my lungs pushed all the water out, making me cough, kneeling on the ground. I took in a breath of air. I heard muffled talking, and looked up to see that the person who pulled me out was talking. She seemed to be staff, but the water in my ears kept me from hearing her.

     I was with my family again, talking to the manager of the zoo, who was apologizing. Something about trying to fix the safety violations that had to do with short railings or something. I just sat their and waiting to leave, wanted to watch the fish again. Not long after we had sat down, we got up and left. Mom wasn't going to try suing them, because of the whole process with court, and just wanted that to be over with. I smiled as we walked past all the tanks, still enjoying my birthday.

      I got into my bath now that the day is just about over, and I still had to wash off from earlier. I relaxed, and as my neck was submerged, it began to pulse again, one of my lungs filling with water as the other was filled with air. My eyes widened in shock, the feeling catching me off guard. I fully submerged myself, I breathed out as my other lung filled with water. I brought my face above the water. I felt as though my neck had opened or 'widened' a bit as one of my lungs emptied and I breathed in air. I sat up and felt water flowing out of my neck my lung emptied of water, filling with air again.

     I finished cleaning myself up, dried up, got dressed and returned to my room, going to sleep for the day. I smiled as I thought of what could possibly happen in the future. Maybe this is the start of my adventurous life.

         I was walking to my new home, the house I bought. As I walked, the town's folk stared at me, as I walked to my new home. Many people are scared of the forest saying there are many murders and disappearances there. Apparently this town had some bad history, but people were usually fine as long as they stayed away from the forest. I opened my front door and walked into the new house, at the edge of the woods. It was fully furnished, a nice TV on a cool stand, with a nice couch, there were 2 stories in the house. I walked into the master bedroom, I saw the amazingly large bathroom, and the walk in closet. I smiled as I walked back and looked out the window, staring at the large forest. I walked out to a nice restaurant and order a little something to keep me going for the rest of the day. I walked back home before pausing. I turned towards the woods and contemplated weather I wanted to go there or not. I started walking, deciding the choice that could possibly change my life.
