Welcome, mortal. Please take a seat

A low-pitched, unfamilliar voice echoes in my head. I looked around, feeling disoriented.

"Wh- Where am i?", I tried to speak. However, my voice won't come out. I was scared. Very scared that i can't even move my body.

No need to be afraid, for i am here to help you

Then i saw a man, about two meters tall. He wore a white robe and with gold linings. His face however, was not visible to me. It seems, despite how hard i tried to see his face, all i can see is white clouds and blinding light.

I am Arkathos, the king of the once powerful kingdom of Atlantis.

I was confused at the moment. Everybody know Atlantis is just a fairy tale written by Plato. Suddenly, i felt a strange feeling in my throat.

"What do you want?", i finally found my voice. "Show your face!"

I'm afraid i can't, my son. Remember this, a great destiny awaits you. Your heart will show you the path. may the blessing of Coeus and Phoibe always be with you

"Coeus? Phoibe? Who are they?"

He suddenly burst into light, startled me from my sleep. It was only a dream.

"What the- a strange dream indeed", I thought to myself as i woke up. The sunlight penetrate my thin curtains, creating a slight green shade on my floor. I felt a searing pain in my lungs, as though someone had hit it with a blunt stick "Ah, maybe because i exercised too hard yesterday. I shouldn't push myself too hard", I said. My body was covered in sweat. I felt very thirsty. I grabbed a bottle of water beside my bed and gulped it.

I got up and took a glance at my room. It wasn't a big room. Just a usual bedroom filled with posters and photos. A huge painting was hanging on the wall above my bed. It isn't something fancy because i don't know who painted it. My mom bought it for me knowing i love classical atmosphere.

I looked at my clock, it's 07.30. "Oh shite, i'm going to be late for Mrs. Pattinson's lecture", I exclaim. Hurriedly i changed my clothes, spray some perfume, took my car key and left my apartment.

Hurriedly i went to the class.

"Jake Kingsley, i believe you know what time it is?", she said when i entered the room.

"Yes, ma'am, i'm terribly sorry. I had a headache this morning", I said, hoping she will forgive me.

"Sure, headache. What next? Cancer?", she said. "Well, it can't be helped. Take a seat"

"Thank you very much, ma'am. I promise i won't be late again", I replied quickly. "What a relieve", i thought.

"Don't make promise you can't keep", she said. I smiled and sat in her class.

Attending a class was never my specialty. I think i fell asleep a few times in that class despite the incident earlier that morning.

"Jake!", A familliar voice called me

"Aaron, what's up, man?"

"Hey, wanna hit the gym?"

"Like you don't know me", i said.

We went to the gym together. Because i'm a gym man, i always bring some spare sportwear in my car. I put on my sportwear and went to the gym. Aaron went to the bench while i hit the treadmill.

"It's tiring, isn't it? The treadmill?", someone beside me said. He was a blonde handsome man, about 170 centimeters tall. But judging by his look, he never went to the gym before.
