I know I know. Ew a romance book. Shut up. It's gonna get mushy and you either accept it or leave.

All was well at Imperial Beach. Surprisingly. I walked around town and kept casual.

Last night was beautiful. I couldn't let Luke know who I am. He'd never understand. No one can.

I heard a high pitched scream from about two blocks away. I ran towards the noise to see a group of girls completely swarming a giant bus. Luke said he was the lead singer of a band... perhaps this was his bus.

Everything in my head said to not go towards the bus. Yet my legs were already speeding off toward the mysterious vehicle.

I saw the girls huddled around something as I got closer. That thing, was none other than Luke. I guess he's more popular than I thought. I devised a plan quickly and broke through the crowd quickly.

"LUCAS!" I screamed on the top of my lungs causing everyone to pause, "LUKE YOU'RE LATE!"

"That's right I am late for that thing aren't I?!" He yelled back smirking.

"YES NOW WOULD YOU COME ON YOU IDIOT! THE OTHERS ARE WAITING!"

"Sorry..."

"Girls I hate to do this but Luke had to be at the studio over an hour ago!"

They all nodded as to say they understood and left Luke alone. I felt kind of bad but they were obviously hurting him. Intentionally or not.

"You okay Prince Charming?" I asked brushing the sand off his shoulder for him. He just rolled his eyes at me and thanked me for making sure he didn't like die.

"So I was wondering if you'd like to..." He started until I saw his arm was dripping red.

"You're bleeding."

"What?"

"Your arm. It's bleeding."

"Oh wow um..."

"Bus Lucas. Now." I commanded and he climbed up. I stepped on too to see how dirty the place was. It was absolutely disgusting.

I bandaged up Luke's arm quite quickly. Just some pressure and some bandaids and he was all set.

"How's about some lunch?" He said hopping off the counter.

As a boy that had to be over 6 feet tall I insisted he isn't allowed to sit on the counters but before my argument could even be considered valued, he was on the counter with his arm stuck out.

Anyway, moving on. Luke insisted that he had to take me to lunch. It's a bit awkward having someone pay for lunch for me. I can't remember the last time I went out to eat. It's too weird to think about.
