Only cracked

Cracked but not shattered,

Shattered but not broken,

Broken but not ruined

Ruined but not destroyed,

But destroyed is destroyed,

And dead...,

Is dead.

The choice of freedom,

Comes at a cost,

A cost willing to pay,

A cost of death,

A cost of destruction,

But a costly mistake.

He learned never,

To pay for freedom,

For it never truly lasts,

Their watching, waiting,

For his mistake,

The mistake of man,

Where they capture,

Once again,

The man freed,

But only for a price.

Man was only cracked,

Cracked by not shattered,

Wasn't shattered,

Until cracked,

Shattered but not broken,

Not broken,

Until shattered,

Broken but not ruined,

Not ruined,

Until broken,

Ruined but not destroyed,

Not destroyed,

Until ruined,

But destroyed is destroyed,
