Rayla sat on the rock starring at the emerald blades flowing in sync to the slow wind. A beautiful sunset floated down in front of her. She was in deep thought about something that everyone spoke of. Love. What is love? Is it a disease? Callum always speaks of love.

Callum, Ezran and the two animals, Bait and Azymondias, sat under an old oak tree, relaxing. Ezran watched as Rayla gave out a deep sigh. He looked to his brother and elbowed him.
"Ow Ezran, What gives?"
Ezran looked towards the elven assassin and Callum averted his eyes from the little prince and at Rayla. He looked back at Ezran who gave a look that said 'go and talk to her'.
"Ok fine, I'll go talk to her." Callum swiftly got up and stepped on the grass towards the girl.

Ezran watched in amusement. They were perfect for each other and he knew they liked each other. They were just oblivious.

"Hey Rayla." Callum said with a wave and a slight blush (he didn't even know was there).
"Oh hey Callum, what's up?" She said, not looking up as all her thoughts were lost in the wind.
"Not much. Just wanted to see how you were doing."
"Oh..." Callum raises his eyebrows in confusion.
"Everything ok?"
"..."
"Rayla? Talk to me. What's wrong?"
"Callum, I don't know how to explain it. I don't even understand this myself!" She looked at him and gasped.
The golden glow of the sunset captivated his face. It was an amazing sight really.
"Take your time. It's ok." Callum put a comforting hand on her shoulder.
"I-I don't know Callum. I really don't know how to ask you..."
Callum gave her a sweet smile.
"It's alright Rayla. You should get some sleep. It's getting late." He yawned and turned back to Ezran. Rayla smiled and nodded. Callum walked back to the tree and Rayla walked to a clear grassy area and dozed off in seconds.
"So what did she say?" Ezran asked, his curiosity taking over.
"She told me she didn't know how to tell me or ask me....." Callum had a dazed look. He noticed his younger brother look over Rayla's shoulder and back at him.
"There's a ball going on tomorrow night." The younger prince state.
"Ok?" Callum raised an eyebrow.
"You should totally ask her to go with you and then ask her to dance!" He whisper-shouted at Callum.
"Woah there little buddy. Where did that come from?"
Ezran looked at him, a slight glare in his eyes.
"Oh come on Callum! It's so obvious you like her! I mean literally everybody knows you like her, well everyone but her."
Callum shook his head and chuckled to himself.
"Alright Ez, go to sleep. Goodnight."
"Goodnight you oblivious fish."
"Hey!" Ezran laughed and fell asleep.

"So Rayla, there's a ball going on and-"
"Yes."
Callum gaped at her.
"You didn't even know what I was going to say." He giggled.
"Well whatever it was, I would've said yes anyway." She smiled a cheeky smile.
"So, see you at 6?" Callum gave an awkward smile.
"Sure." Rayla giggled and waved goodbye. She stood there, alone by the large water fountain covered it pretty fairy lights.
"He's a very handsome young man, isn't he dear?"
"Yeah....wait what?!" Rayla was shocked out of her thoughts about Callum by a middle aged woman, maybe in her late 30's. She had long brown hair and pretty golden eyes. She wore and long dark maroon silk dress.
"Are you going to the ball with him?" She asked in an angelic voice.
"I think so?" Rayla tilted her head.
"I can help you dress up. Come now, we have much to do!" The woman grabbed Rayla's arm and pulled her to a small house. She was going to pull away but when she saw inside the house, she was in awe.
"Now, time to try on some dresses....."
The woman went to a walk and pushed a brick. The wall-door opened and revealed a container type thing. This time Rayla did pull back.
"Who are you and what are you going to do with me?" Rayla glared at the woman but she just laughed.
"Dear, my name is Cora Stone. My husband and I work at a clothes store. I work differently to him. I'm a seamstress and I built this machine to help with what design will go with my costumers. Are you going to let me help you?"
Rayla looked at the container and back at Cora and nodded. The older woman smiled and gently nudged her into the container.
