During Grace and James' first date James was afraid that her father would barge in and give him a rather nasty detention. However, Neville was one of the many hoping they would date. He though they brought out the best of each other; he was right. That fact didn't stop him from spying on them though, but he didn't crash it. His daughter was happy and that was all that mattered.
