They always told me,

"Never trust the curly-headed boy with the big dimples."

I should've listened.

I walked out of my mothers car, slamming the car door. Just to further prove my anger about having to come to this wretched place.

"Honey, please be nice to Mrs. Bentz. She's just trying to help you ok?" My mom told me through her rolled down window.

"I don't need help mom and I've been telling you this for a while. I'm perfectly content with handling things on my own. What happened last summer will never happen again."

Therapy was a one of the only things my mom and I argued about. I knew I didn't need it, but she was bent on forcing me to go. She thinks I can't handle myself or simple things in daily life anymore. She didn't even trust me enough to let me drive myself here, she insisted on taking me.

She's been this way since what happened last summer. I think I made the picture perfectly clear that I was unhappy with myself and my life.

I don't blame her for being concerned about me. I mean I think it's perfectly understandable to be worried about me. Finding your 16 year old daughter passed out on the restroom floor, from an over dosage of pills is enough to make any mother extremely worried or overbearing.

I kissed her goodbye and walked up to the building. The humid gloomy air hitting me. Making me put my long brown hair into a bun.

The weather seemed to reflect my mood today. It started to sprinkle as I walked to the door. One of the things I loved about my small town of "Willenburg" was the rainy weather. It seemed to be the only thing that calmed me some days.

I walked in waving a hello to Luke a scrawny blonde haired, blue eyed kid I became friends with as soon as I started coming here.

I signed myself in and sat next to Luke, waiting for my name to be called. He was wearing a red snapback and a his usual black shirt and skinny jeans.

"Do you own any other color of clothing than black Luke?" I asked jokingly.

"At least my 'mommy' doesn't buy all my clothes for me, Aria." He told me laughing.

My mom surely doesn't buy my clothes for me. But I don't blame him for thinking that. I mean my mom is known as the "overbearing mother" of our town. It can be annoying at times, but guess it's better than her not caring at all.

"Yeah well at least my 'mommy' doesn't call me Lukey" I said laughing harder than he did. Making the lady at the desk give me a dirty look.

"Aww not this. Shut up Aria I told you not to ever mention that again. It was a one time thing, she's never called me that again."

He chuckled and sighed in defeat.

"Whatever you say my wittle Lukey." I mocked his mom, giggling.

He ignored my comment as his head snapped up to look at who was walking in.

I followed his gaze and saw a guy walk in, he looked around our age. He had light brown fluffy hair. And hazel eyes. He wore a "Blink-182" t-shirt and skinny jeans. He looked at me for a second before looking away.

He was new here.

I knew this because I've come here long enough to know the usuals.

Sara, the antisocial one. She always looked scared for some reason. The couple of times I had talked to her, she had glazed eyes and didn't seem to hear a word I had said.

Then there was Dylan. We talked occasionally, he's been coming here a lot less recently. He might be finally getting better. All I know was he was a hardcore druggie. Popping pills all times of the day to escape his life.

Then of course Luke and I. A few people have come and gone. They get better, then leave. Or they off themselves before they can get better.

"Aria you're staring, and you're doing a crappy job of hiding it." Luke whispered from beside me.

I pulled my eyes from this attractive stranger. And looked at Luke, I could feel my cheeks heating up and I let out a breathe I hadn't realized I was holding in. I had got lost in thought and forgot to look away from the new guy who had walked in.

"No I wasn't." I whispered back, slightly embarrassed.

"You totally were though." He told me laughing.

"I know him by the way." He turned to me grinning.

"What do you mean you know him? I've never seem him before."

"He just moved in to my neighborhood. He lives alone I think, I mean I've never seen anyone in the house with him and there is only one car in the driveway."

"Oh, I wonder why he's here."

"Yeah me too."

"Aria Lankins, Mrs. Bentz can see you know." I heard interrupting our conversation.

"Well here go's nothing." I said to Luke sighing before standing up and walking to Mrs. Bentz room.

"Good luck." I heard Luke call as I walked to the room.
