The Only One (Revised and Updated Version)

The Prologue

A/N I didn't know that people would actually read a book that I started writing so long ago lol, I forgot about it. So if you have already read the Prologue it's the same thing except I just separated it into paragraphs (so go ahead and skip to the next chapter). If you haven't read it then welcome and enjoy <3

Emma Jones is the most popular girl in school. She has medium length hair that is almost always down in beautiful blonde waves and beautiful ocean blue eyes that can see into your soul. She was born into a family of Christians who believed that all gays go to hell and she lived by that everyday. With the exception of her best friend, Naomi Hunter.

Naomi was the school rebel. She has medium length brown hair with piercing hazel brown eyes. Her family on the other hand doesn't really care about what she does or who she is, she is openly gay and has been for five years. They couldn't care less though, they still treated her like she was a mistake. Any chance they got anyways, they were rarely ever home. They always went on, "work trips" which she knew just meant that they were doing drugs in a little motel room in Chicago, Illinois. 

Naomi and Emma live in Tacoma, Washington. Naomi never stays the night at Emma's house, Emma lies to her parents and tells them she's going to Molly's when she's really going to Naomi's. Emma's parents don't want Naomi to "turn her gay" which she thought was silly because she knew that she liked guys, she figured that they had nothing to worry about. Well, she was obviously wrong.
