hidden camera bday prank

It was Haerin's birthday and the boys had planned a hidden camera prank for her.

"Ok so when she walks in we'll make a huge deal about her being late even though she isn't, then one of us will bring the cake in when she's not looking," Namjoon reminded the rest of their plan to which the boys nodded.

A few minutes later she walked in and placed her water bottle down on the floor and looked up at the guys. She was taken aback by the thick tension that hung in the room.

Namjoon had a grim expression on his face with his arms folded, "Haerin-ah! Why are you late?"

"Hmm? I'm not late we were supposed to come here at 7:00am and here I am."

"We've been here for way longer, don't say you came at the right time," Yoongi spoke up.

"What do you mean, I'm sure the dance teacher told me to be here at this time."

"He told us to be here at 6:00am, he got angry and told us to call him when we're serious again. I know it's your birthday but that gives you no excuse to slack off." Namjoon stared at her dead in the eyes and Haerin was taken aback, seeing the usual calm friend of hers pinning her down like that.

"I'm not trying to slack off, why are you guys being like this?"

Jimin looked down and mumbled,"This is the way we act when you come in late regardless of whether it's your birthday or not."

She started getting angry and raised her voice a little before saying,"Hey I'm not asking for special treatment I'm just saying I'm not late you guys must have been early."

Hoseok rolled his eyes and sarcastically replied,"Ahh obviously we're the wrong ones."

In the corner of the room, hidden from Haerin's line of sight Taehyung was trying his hardest not to snicker. Jin shoved his shoulder to make him stop, trying to repress a laugh himself.

"Ok fine let's say I was late, can we not make a fuss about it and stop wasting time and get on with practice."

"Oh so now we're wasting time", Hoseok said.

"Time has already been wasted, we've had to hear scoldings at your expense and now you're here saying this stuff. I've got to say I'm disappointed. Our instructor was so angry at us he just got up and left. I can't let this slide," Namjoon said.

"I'm sorry guys, I won't be late again, I promise," Haerin softened her voice.

Namjoon stared at her again and replied, "Sorry? That's it."

Confused, she just looked sheepish. Not knowing what else to say to make the awkward tension dissipate.

"You're just sorry. I'm supposed to let this go now?"

Jin had composed himself to take part in the prank and spoke up,"Wah, what do you want? She said sorry, stop this now, already made my birthday girl upset."

"Jin, it's ok I'm not upset, it was my fault and now let's start practice!"

Jungkook nodded and frivolously said,"Yeah, I've been waiting all this time."

Taehyung turned his head away to silently laugh at what was going on.

"No it's not ok, the guys are dumb and should know it," Jin relented with a hard set expression on his face.

"Ah hyung I know you're older and have a soft spot for Haerin but this is wrong. She messed up and we're not even allowed to be angry at her?" Yoongi glared.

Jimin placed his hand on his shoulder which Yoongi shrugged off and stepped closer to Jin.

"She said sorry. Now you guys are acting immature."

"Ah guys can we just dance!!" Haerin exclaimed impatiently, sticking her head in between the oldest.

Yoongi stared into Jin's eyes and coldly said, "Oh am I really Hyung, what're you gonna do about it." This made Jin take a deep,exasperated breath and move his head to the side.

"Yoongi hyung, Jin hyung is older than you, stop it," Namjoon coaxed to which Haerin replied,"Yes let it gooo and PLEASE dance, this is what I came here for, have your lovers spat some other time."

"What do you think Tae? Shouldn't we just dance and let our parents fight somewhere else?", she asked turning her head towards Taehyung who couldn't take it any longer and burst into laughter

Everyone started laughing and jumping around and Haerin just stood there with a look of disgust on her face.

Jungkook took this opportunity to have quickly brought the cake and started singing happy birthday. The rest joined him and stood in front of her with huge grins on their faces.

She rolled her eyes with a smirk and said,"So you guys thought it was a good idea to fight for my birthday?"

"Uh...good question", Jungkook said looking to Namjoon.

"Well, to you we were fighting so why'd you not take it seriously?", Namjoon shot back.

"Halfway through I had already seen 2 of the cameras so I just thought I'd have some fun with it. I mean, not gonna lie y'all hurt me but I was looking around to find them because what you guys were saying made NO sense to me. And I asked Tae that question because I knew he was on the verge of losing it," Haerin admitted with a shrug, the boys started laughing and complaining about her finding out.

(In the video we see Haerin spotting the cameras right when Jin spoke up and then glancing at Tae who had his body slightly turned to hide his face. We also see that Haerin actually got really upset when everyone was berating her for no reason.)

"This is not fair, I thought we were pretty good at this," Yoongi pouted.

"Yeah I have to say, you guys are great actors. And the one dude whose been in a drama was the one who couldn't keep a straight face for his life."

Everyone laughed at her statement and shoved Taehyung who stared sheepishly at the ground with an embarrassed smile.

"Yah, Taehyung-ah even if she didn't see the cameras you'd have given it away," Jimin complained and Jungkook randomly started singing "Even if I die it's you".

"Well..I am the acting major here", Jin said with a grin pointing to himself.

"You guys are such idiots for doing a mean prank on my birthday you should thank your lucky stars I found out or all of you would be getting your asses beat right now."

All of them fell silent as they realized how stupid all of this was.

"Anyways I want a bite of this cake please", Haerin begged and Jungkook fed her a bite making everyone aww and ask to be fed by him as well.

After setting the cake aside they lifted her off her feet to give her birthday bumps. She threatened to kill all of them at the start but was squealing and giggling afterwards, all of them laughing and having smiles plastered onto their faces.

After they set her down she said,"Ok, so now can we FINALLY practice?", making everyone chuckle at her as she just smiled at them from the floor.

They were dumb dipshits but they were her dumb dipshits (as cheesy as that is).
