I walked out on to the balcony. I sat there and couldn't help smiling at my luck. My view was being blocked by a big ass tree. I turned, walked, and leaned over the rail of the balcony in hopes that looking past the houses would help me see what I was looking for.
There it was....kinda. The school I'd be going to in a few days. How oh so great that'll be. Actually, it was kinda nice. I'd get to see the very few people I knew before I moved at the end of eighth grade and it wasn't even that far of a walk. Though some of my previous friends might've gone to the other high school here. Too bad.
Right as I was about to go inside I saw a little movement. What I hadn't noticed was a guy my age sitting atop the roof of the neighboring house. From even here I could tell he was bleeding. Probably got in a fight. None of my business.
However, as if he had heard my thoughts, he turned and looked at me in complete fear then passed out. Ok then, now I'll go back inside. But apparently not giving a shit, God gave the guy a little push. And by little push I mean the guy started rolling and...now he's off the roof—oop— now he's in some puddle on the ground.
Now, I know what your thinking, are you going to help him? No. His family probably saw. He landed directly in front of the sliding glass door. Then a minute goes by and I'm starting to feel like I should at least make sure he didn't snap his neck.
On my way through her dining area, my friend Evelyn says,"Oh, so you finally came down. I thought you were gonna become a statue on my bedroom balcony."
"Sorry, your neighbor fainted off the roof." I said calmly.
"Really? Who? Tom?"
"Wha—How am I supposed to know?!"
"The skinny short guy with his hair dyed lightish green. The guy I told you was cute before I accidentally sent you a dick pic."
"Oh, well then yeah that was Tom. Also, we should probably go help him out. He wasn't moving when I came inside."I started towards the sliding glass door before stopping and looking at Evelyn.
"Also, it was obvious that wasn't accidentally. You could've told me you were trans in a different way." I said.
"You still don't believe me?" She gasps and tries not to snicker.
"Absolutely not."
