Looking around the hotel Paris was satisfied with their temporary choice of housing. She wasn't about to waste any more time than she had to trying to find a house, furnish it, move into it and all that extra ishh.. Instead her and Kelsey settled on a penthouse suite at the Ritz that was right next to each other, having a healthy baby and getting back to Miami was her only concern ..

It was big enough for her, Shane, and the kids and that's all that mattered .. walking further into the living area she watched as her Doctor, Dr. Avery walk around the corner with a mug in her hand ..

"I hope you don't mind, I helped myself to some coffee.." She said with a smile as she hugged Paris ..

"No, not at all .. sorry to keep you waiting .." Paris said as she watched the bell boys bring in her bags ..

"No problem, when you're ready .. just let me know .. I'm all set up over here.." She said with a smile ..

Dr. Avery was mocha toned, she had blonde shoulder length dreads and hazel brown eyes, she was gorgeous and she was Paris' go to Dr. whenever she was in New York and pregnant .. which was often ..

"Okay, hold on a second .." Walking over to the door that conjoined her and Kelsey's room Paris knocked and waited until Kelsey answered.. She had their baby over her shoulder rocking him to sleep ..

"Sorry, could you watch them for a second while I get checked ?" Paris asked

"Yeah, just leave the door open .." She said

"Alright .." Walking away Paris got comfortable on the couch ..

She was slightly nervous but she knew it wasn't probably anything more than a little acid reflux, staring up at the ceiling she flinched as she felt the cold gel being spread around her stomach ..

"Sorry.." Dr. Avery said as she laughed "I didn't think to warm it up first .."

"It's fine.." Paris replied, looking over at the ultrasound machine she smiled when she seen her baby appear on the monitor ..

"How was the gender reveal ?" She asked as she took pictures of the baby

"It was great, I got what I wanted.. thank God.. I'd go crazy with another boy running around here.." Paris said ..

Dr.Avery didn't reply as she stared at the images on the screen, digging deeper into her uterus she frowned ..

"What is it ?" Paris asked, noticing her reaction she got nervous ..

But the doctor still didn't say anything ..

"Pamela !! What is it ?" Paris asked again, this time sitting up

Dr.Avery opened her mouth but didn't say anything, glancing back at the screen she bit her lip ..

"We need to get you to a hospital to get a better look, it could be nothing .." She replied with a shrug ..

"Okay, but what do you think it is ?" Paris asked, this time raising her voice ..

She knew something was wrong just by the look in Pamela's face, and the fact that she wasn't telling her what was wrong with her baby pissed her off even more ..

"What's going on ?" Kelsey asked as she entered the room ..

Glancing back at Kelsey then at Dr. Avery she cocked her head to the side ..

"What the fuck is wrong with her ?!" She yelled

Jumping, Dr. Avery closed her eyes and sighed "Paris, I want you to go to the hospital just to make sure I'm checking everything right .. I don't hear a heartbeat anymore .." She said ..

Frowning, Paris got off of the couch and walked into the bedroom .. Getting her own personal Doppler machine she brought it out of the room and gave it to the doctor ..

"Check with this .." She replied

"Paris, I think it's best if --" Cut off Dr.Avery didn't get to finish her sentence

"You're a world renowned neonatal surgeon, you can figure this shit out here !! If you need me to go to the hospital it's because you know she's already dead !!" Paris yelled as tears were now streaming down her face ..

Speechless, Dr. Avery shook her head, "I'm sorry, but she is dead Paris.. the heartbeat is gone .." She replied ..

As soon as the words escaped Pamela's mouth, a loud sob could be heard coming from Paris' mouth as she dropped down to her knees .. Walking over to her Kelsey got down on her knees beside her and hugged her tightly as she wiped her tears .. but it was pointless, the tears wouldn't stop coming and everybody in the room could feel her heartache as she cried her heart out.. she kept repeating, and asking God why, trying her hardest to understand .. but her heart felt like it was on fire ..

"Not again !!" Paris yelled as she ran her fingers through her hair ..

Staring up at the ceiling she fought to catch her breath, but all she could think about was her daughter and why God would let this happen to her .. not once but twice ..

"I can go if you need me to .." Dr. Avery said, she now too had tears flowing down her cheeks .. She had seen plenty of baby's die while still in the womb but Paris was like family, and it hurt her to deliver the news ..

"No, I think you should stay .. I'm gonna call Shane .." Kelsey said as she got up

Paris held her arms around her body trying her best to comfort herself but nothing was working .. Just like that another piece of her was gone..
