(Y/n)'s P.O.V.
"This is my favourite song," Jungkook smiled.
"Why is that?" I asked.
"Because every time I listen to it, it reminds me of you."
A smirk crept upon my face as the words came out of his mouth. Happy. Happy is the best word to describe how I was feeling. It's a simple description for my emotions but it still says a lot.
We continued to walk, hands intertwined. One set of ear buds were shared among the two of us as we listened to the persistent beat of 'Half Moon by DEAN'.
Not a lot of words were spoken, but the aura was calm and relaxing. The sound of gravel below our feet, the soft breeze to keep us cool from the fully exposed sun, the sky with the perfect shade of blue, it was all so soothing. But what I found most mesmerizing was the man beside me. I couldn't help but pay attention to every little movement. His dark brown hair slightly bounced with each step he took. The corners of his lips every once in a while would rise into a smile which showed signs of happiness.
The feeling of euphoria built up inside of me. I felt as though my feet were barely even touching the ground. This is one of those moments that you would never want to end.
All of a sudden, Jungkook stopped in his tracks, taking me out of my trance. I realized he stopped to look at the lake while we were on a bridge. We stood in silence once again to admire the view. What caught my attention the most was the water ripples caused by the birds. There's such beauty in this world more people need to respect.
Jungkook let go of my hand to wrap his arm around my shoulder instead. He pulled me close to his body, into a side hug. He turned his head to rest his gaze on me, I looked back at him, into his dark, brown, doe eyes which sparkled in the sun. He leaned in and kissed my forehead, staring back into my eyes after retrieving his lips. His smirk soon turned into his famous bunny smile.
'Cute', I thought.
"Let's continue now," he softly said.
I nodded then grabbed his hand out of instinct. The two of us then continued on our journey to nowhere.
