Chapter 1
I looked around the kitchen, listening for the tv. I creaked the door open as I snuck in to the house, praying dad wasn't home yet, I'm on his last nerve with my low grades getting caught ditching the last three hours of school was not apart of my get on his good side plan.I also am NOT ready to get kicked out of the house yet, so I better not get caught.
So I wasn't prepared for dad to walk out of the garage!
"Hey Ryan home from school so early" he said calmly"i have to admit you came home later than I thought you would"
"oh a hey dad" I said as I flung the door closed. " so what classes are you missing now" dad asked eating a peach.
" oh nothing important" I said dismissing the question
" trigonometry, English, and chemistry again Ryan?" he asked already knowing the answer.
" yeah" I said giving up, what was the use I was already caught.
" ok" he said as he walked back into the garage.
I am so dead later better start packing I thought as I walked up the steps into my room.
" Mary-Alice Ryan Alessia Moon" dad yelled using my full name(dang it he is pissed) " get down here this very instant" ( yea bet you thought I was a boy)
" what do you want old man" I said clamly
" to talk about you ditching school, you can't keep doing that" he nagged.
" ok 1 it is my life and I can do with it what I choose 2 I ditch cause I need the extra time seeing as how I've been in every martial art known to man, taking boxing, and run track ok I get tired" I whined
" well I guess we're both tired I don't want to bother you anymore so get your stuff packed and I'll get you an apartment to stay in and find you a job" he argued he wanted me to drop to my knees and cry begging him not to kick me out but I didn't care I would not fall to my knees.
Then somthing in side me wanted to challenge my father to control him I didn't know what it was, but I didn't like it I fought it back deep inside me. While all this happened my dad had called bill the owner of the apartment complex that I have lived in and out of the last year and a half. Great! He was serious I went up stairs grabbed a box from under my bed and started to pack.
