Sorry I haven’t uploaded in so long computer shut down but I’m back and ill upload more often.
After Terra left, Erik grabbed me by the waist in led me inside. His muscle sculpted arms flexed as he pulled me closer to him; our hips practically touching. He leaned down his lips lightly brushing my cheek before I felt the warmth of his breathe in my ear, “You look gorgeous, the only moon amongst a sea of stars,” He whispered. Ryan could feel her face flush a bright pink. Erik was always so smooth and romantic the way the schools star quarter back should be with all the girls right? Ryan leaned her head on Erik’s shoulder walking through the door.
“One day the shoe is gonna drop” she mumbled to herself. She and Erik were so different. He was the popular Adonis that played football the way he breathed; effortlessly. He was really smart despite the fact he could get any girl to do all his work for him. Not that he ever would he’s unbelievably kind hearted, which is why he had enough real friends to fill two football stadiums. He was Ryan’s polar opposite! She had a slim build but curvy and a bit muscular though overall very plain looking and couldn’t play sports to save her life. She was a widely known truant, constantly ditching; few knew she was a genius school was her football, effortless. She had two friends. She was sarcastic and naturally distrusted everyone.
“You really don’t see yourself clearly do you” Erik mumbled kissing the top of her head his voiced drowned out by the music. They had this conversation a lot, nearly every day. She smiled at his sweetness if only she could believe him. In an attempt to change the conversation she dragged him onto the dance floor. She smiled like a goofy school girl as she moved her hips to the music. The music slowed just a little the beat hypnotic. A heavy atmosphere fell over the room; to Ryan it felt like a winter coat of hormones and teen angst. She became increasingly aware of Erick’s hands shift from the gently touch he always regarded her with to being strong, rough. His finger muscles flexing to hold her tighter, while pulling her closer. As the coat hanging over the room grew heavier it seemed like a fog of colors was forming growing thicker. Ryan made out purples and greens and reds. Inhibition, greed, lust. A little voice in the back of her head whispered. Ryan was confused, could no one else feel this this… aura the little voice interjected. Ryan knew that was the right word for it she didn’t know how she knew, but she did. This aura could no one else feel it or see the thick colors growing richer threatening to swallow them all?
She tried to move but Erik’s strong hands wouldn’t let her. His pelvis grinding against hers. She hadn’t realized she was still dancing, or how close, how erotically they’d been dancing. Only a few millimeters of cloth separated them from doing a different dance. A dance that was as natural as breathing or blinking. A dance who’s color quickly consumed the others. Lust, desire, sex. Ryan abruptly stopped dancing, while Erik willed her to continue to no avail. Stop! Run! The voice in her head was insistent. She grabbed Erik’s hands from her hips pulling him toward the door. The closer to the door and farther from the throng of overly hormonal teens they got Ryan’s head became clearer as did Erik’s, but only slightly.
The door was next to the stairs, when they arrived Erik stopped abruptly. “Ryan” he coaxed his voice layered with what she could only assume was seduction. She turned to look at him. Her eyes widened he glowed a near pinkish red and then it was gone. What was happening? She must be going crazy, this was stress induced she decided. She turned from him and grabbed for the door knob stopping just short of her goal.
Where was Terra? She could just leave Terra that was her ride for heaven’s sake! She looked back over toward the crowd of teens. She could find Terra in there. Then she remembered something Terra had gone to the kitchen to hang-out with Percy.
She turned around running face first into Erik’s wall of a chest, nearly falling on her butt. Erik caught her by the waist. They stayed like that for a moment or to staring into Erik’s eyes. He leaned down and kissed her lightly. The moment their lips touched Ryan felt the heavy aura descend on. Erik’s kiss grew stronger more insistent full of desire. Ryan tried to stop fight the aura, then it was like her mind blanked.
Who was she? Where was she? Who was this gorgeous guy kissing her? Was he her boyfriend? She really hoped he was; he’s a good kisser she thought. His lips urging hers to respond. She didn’t fight. His hands moved frantically over her curvy body searching for something to anchor him to her. His hands are soft she thought. She felt him right their position so she was standing wrapping her arms around his neck. The kiss grew deeper, she needed air or she’d pass out. That’s okay she thought I don’t need air I like kissing him. Just as she thought this his lips left her to travel down her jaw line to her neck. His teeth grazed the sensitive skin near her collar bone. Desire surged through her, her hands grabbed for his hair she jumped up wrapping her legs around him. Sensing this change in her he licked the spot that his teeth had touched. Her head moved to allow him easier access to her bare neck, as she tried to pull his body to hers. His hands had found their way to her thighs, which tensed under their touch. She hadn’t realized they’d moved until she felt her back hit the wall, hard. She let out a low moan of both pain and pleasure. “Ryan” he said his voice heavy with desire. Then it was as if a spark had gone off in her head fighting the heaviness that consumed her body. Ryan. Little voice repeated. Was that her name? Ryan it said this time more insistent stop! Run! “Ryan” Erik said again. Ryan that was her name! Everything came back to her then the aura, the colors, finding Terra, getting out of this house.
Erik’s lips found her again urging them to let him in. she pulled away from him. He look dumbfounded “put me down Erik” she said forcefully hoping to break through whatever fogginess had consumed him. It was like a light switched on in this head, his eyes blinked realizing that he was holding her put her down. They both looked down embarrassed they’d never kissed like that ever. It was Ryan didn’t know what to think of it.
“Let’s find Terra” she said looking down the trashed hallway toward the kitchen. Erik didn’t respond he just looked down the hall gesturing for her to lead. She walked down the hall and into the grand kitchen. This kitchen was bigger than her room! Hell it was bigger than her apartment! After another moment of gawking she found Terra and Percy leaning into each other just talking. Ryan noticed that the kitchen didn’t have an ‘aura’ like the other room. It was so light in here.
“Hey guys!” she chirped pleading with her eyes for Terra to understand that she was sorry. Percy coughed in discomfort.
“What’s up” he asked trying not to make eye contact with Ryan.
“Well it’s been a while wanted to make sure you guys were alright” she lied signaling to Terra that she was ready to go. Terra sighed.
“Well I better take Rye-Rye home” Terra teased using Ryan’s hated kick name as revenge “goodnight Percy” she said kissing him goodbye. She headed toward them to go out the front door, but Ryan turned her around.
“Let’s go out the back its wild out there” she laughed nervously as they headed out the back toward Terra’s car. They all piled in, as they pulled out the driveway Ryan looked back toward the house. In the window she saw the people partying hard like they were doing a primal dance that was restricted by their clothes. There was one person not dancing though, it was a woman. She stared back at Ryan quizzically. Ryan noticed the colors were darkest around her. Spectra the little voice whispered as if the word was a memory. Woman’s eyes widened and she vanished. Ryan gasped.
“What?” Terra asked
“Nothing I just thought I saw something” Ryan lied.
