The ℘ratum Region 🐘

Description Reminder:

A territory of dry grassy plains and waterholes, the Pratum Region is similar to that of a savanna. It is a field of tall dry grass. Many large rocks are caves that can be used as a home and the area is dotted with trees that have branches sprouting out from the top of the trunk and pale, chalky leaves. There is one main waterhole with a truce, called the Alacris. Many mor trees settle on the banks of this waterhole, which also has a fast flowing river that connects with one of the Collis Region's lakes.
Exception: a bushfire burned down about a sixth of the region. That is where the hyenas live. They feed on mainly rotten food and prey on curious animals that wander by. They are starving and unhappy.

Dominant Animal: Lions/Elephants (they're considered wise)
Prey: Standard killing rules. Large predators will prefer to kill larger animals such as antelope or even a hyena. Prey will snack on the grass and bushes on the ground, or if tall enough, the leaves on the trees. There are scrawny and bland tasting nuts in shrivelled bushes everywhere with the occasional blackberry bush.
General Atmosphere: Has an also rather varied range of personalities. Large predators tend to be hostile around all animals other than their own species. Birds that live here like a companion for the ticks on their friend's back. Passive prey can be very shy to very ambitious.
