Kara's P.O.V

"Well kids, you know how I went away for a few days last week?" Rita asks garnering a few nods from around the table, letting Rita know that she can carry on "Well, I went to see Kara and after a few discussion we both decided that she was going to move over and and live here with us!" I can tell Rita doesn't want to tell them what happened with Leon, since she's left it up to me I guess and I'm grateful for that little fact. "I'll just leave you kids alone to get to know each other..." I smile and watch her leave, but before she can disappear entirely I remember Jess.

"Um, Rita?" she turns around and smiles lovingly and am surprised to see that, because I honestly wasn't expecting that from her, no matter how long we've known each other.

"Yes sweetheart?"

"Can Jess stay the night? She can catch a ride with me to school tomorrow." She nods a happy smile on her face before she leaves the kitchen quietly. I turn back to the guys and see that all of them are just staring at me, some with their mouths open in surprise leaving the room awkwardly silent.

"Well hello my names Kara Henderson, I'm 18 years old, I have one biological sibling. I actually love to play basketball, figh-surfing (wow, that was close, I nearly said fighting..) and I dislike" I look at Benji and see that he's looking up at me with innocent eyes "pickles." It's quiet before I hear a small laugh making the boys relax  bit which I hoped would happen.

"I'm Derek the oldest of the children, I'm 18 and I also love surfing but I hate olives." I laugh at the olives part since I do too.

"So that's why you were asking around about the Miller brothers today," Jessie states as he puts two and two together.

"Yeah, I didn't ask around because I was a stalker or an obsessed fan girl. I was seeing if I would get along with my new house mates." I shrug and get up to get a bottle of water.

"And here I thought I was special," No other than Cas jokes.

I smile sweetly "Oh you are special, just not enough for me to waste my breath on a manwhore." I can see that Cas is shocked for a second before it's replaced with a flirty smile and a twinkle of interest.

"I know you want me." He whispers seductively, which makes me for some reason know that we will become great friends.

"Yeah I want you," I see his eyes flash wariness but before he can open his mouth I burst his bubble "with my foot shoved up-" I don't finish as I remember that there a minor present "you know where."

He shrugs but introduces himself "I'm Cas." Short and sweet it seems.

"As you already know I'm Jessie the second youngest, I'm 16 and I play basketball and my favorite color is blue."

-Hmm, I wonder if his favorite color is blue because of Jess's eyes, Will have to look into that.

"I'm Wes, I play soccer and I love to read oh and Jessie is my younger twin brother." I smile at him which makes his cheeks turn slightly pink. What a cutie.

Last but not least was Reed. I already knew who he was since I didn't recognize him at first but after thinking about it after I met him in the music room (more like two hours of thinking) I remembered who he was.

Some of the gangs around the country would meet up in a neutral place to update one another on the happenings on certain territories. It was a way to keep the peace between multiple gangs so that the less we fought the less people would get hurt. He doesn't recognise me because I always covered my face when I went to the meetings. It caused a lot of shit since that was seen as sign of disrespect which resulted in a lot of fights and distrust between my gang and few others, but after I fought all the competitors from the other gangs they grudgingly accepted the fact that I didn't want to tell them my identity.

Reed was the leader for the Stinger bees. When we met at the meeting we automatically hit it off (well not automatically, after he got to know me and not my 'fake' self that is), then one night that all changed. From what I remember their were around 10 of them in the Stinger bee's gang, including him, 9 boys and 1 girl. Her name was Leah Hugh...

"My names Reed and-" I cut him off with one word.

"Stinger Bee's." He looks confused and I would of believed him if I didn't see the suspicion in now steely eyes before it was suddenly gone, his body now stiff.

"What did you say?" he asks softly, but I can hear a hint of something suspicion in it.

"Sorry I was just thinking out loud," I say with a small self conscious smile, in which he shoots looks me a confused glare. I was a good at lying and having a cover, you have to be able to lie and get your way out of situations in the line of work that I'm in.

"So, your Reed and..." I prompt and he carries on almost looking like he's hearing things, I almost feel sorry for him, almost.

"And I like to fight." I raise my eyebrows looking at him with critical eyes since eh's not trying to hide anything.

-I wonder if his family knew he was in a gang or that he was the leader of said gang...
