The day went on uneventful until we were busy putting away our books for the day, Agatha grabbed my hand and pulled me behind her. Bells and Simon following behind us in quick steps, we were waiting outside of the boy's bathroom when a sudden girlish scream could be heard. Agatha's younger brother came running out, is skin a very pinkish color and his hair blue, my mind was trying to understand how she could arrange this while being in every single class with me. Yet it was like watching a movie when everyone suddenly filled the hall laughing, the poor boy stood there shocked until he caught his sister smiling. He pulled his lips back in a very animalistic snarl and literally growled when he stepped closer, I'm pretty sure his grey eyes were starting to turn golden when. Simon stepped in front of me, he whispered something before everyone started clearing the walls.
"Was that really necessary Agatha?"
"Lu, my brother's image means everything to him. I just wrecked it as he did to my baby."
"Lu, me and Simon are taking the pink blob to the nurse. You won't mind walking with Agatha to the coffee shop? Alright, Love ya and see ya later!"
Before I could even answer, Bell's sprinted after Simon. Throwing my bag over my shoulder, I indicated to Agatha to fallow me. We were just walking out of the school when. Her phone started ringing, watching her from the side as I tried to act normal. She grunted before picking up the phone, waiting for a few seconds at the person over the line screamed. Then it was like watching a child throwing a tantrum as she went on about how Eugene always got what he wanted and how he never appreciated any of it, how she saved up every penny of her babysitting money to buy the car and how he doesn't even get punished but she needs to fix it because she let him steal the car keys. It was like watching a wrestling match but with words, she sucked in a breath before ending the call directly.
"Aga..."
She held up her finger, biting down on her hand before showing me we can keep walking. With a nod I started waking again, entertaining my arm with hers. She just laid her head on my shoulder as we walking, the sun calmly shining through the leaves. It was a beautiful day and all that I could think of was her brother, all pink an blue.
"You know, I bet you just created a new troll for Disney. It's just unfortunate that your brother can't sing, that bathroom audition was one too many."
She shook her head as she laughed, pulling me closer I felt her pressing her face in my arm, a second later I could feel the wetness against my skin.
"It's not your fault Agatha...ugh...you know if you need a place to crash for the night, you can come. I mean Macroft is coming back today for the week, you might just get along with him...what do you say?"
She nodded against my shoulder, taking deep breaths to calm herself down. She pulled me to a stop and stepped back, opening her bag to pull out a smaller one that she handed to me. Holding it I watch her pull out a wet cloth from a zipped bag and a mirror, she started cleaning any traces of tears before throwing in some eyedrops. She touched up her makeup and it was like there was nothing wrong, she placed everything back in her bag before taking another breath and smiled at me. We made our way to Café La Rose, a cute victorian shop that has tables outside and under an umbrella. A waitress with the name Anne took up to one of the tables, smiling when we told her that we were waiting for friends before we will place an order. There was a small fountain in the middle of the yard and small rose bushes planted around to act as a fence, the waiters were even semi-dressed to fit the era.
"I want to apologize Lu"
"Don't you worry about it Agatha, we both know I won't talk about this. It's our secret."
"I need to leave, I bet you they won't even realize if I ran away."
"You would be wrong, we definitely will. You're apart of our group, unfortunately."
