Chapter 7: Moving On

I awoke with my peaceful bedroom. I went to the bathroom; I act to wash my face, brush my teeth.

Today is sunday, and it means that I don't have classes; quite bored. Basically, our school days were differ from the others; Tuesdays to saturdays.

*Tok-tok*

There's someone who's knocking through my door. "Lana? Are you awake, sweetie?" it's my mum.

I'm going to open the door. "Uhm.. Yes mum, I am up!"

When I open up my door, she's smiling until she noticed my face and turn it into frown. "What happen to your eyes? Oh god sweetie.. what happen to you? You're like a mess!"

"I'm.. Uhm.. O-okay mum!" I tried to deny, yet my tears were easily pouring down to my face and I quickly bawl in to her arms.

"Wha-what happen? Tell me.. sweetie?!"

"Justin and Macy were having a-"

"Oh no! How did they?" shakin her voice up. "No, it's better not to be talked to!"

She cups my face and kissing my forehead. "There's a lot of people who still loves you.. me, your sister and.. your dad" she gives me a warmth hug.

"I miss you mum!" I really missed her.

"I'm sorry baby if I get so busy for my work, everyday" she sighs.

"It's okay mum! I understand, I do really!"

"So, what's up? It's sunday! I don't work and you don't have school!"

I think she thinks what I was thinking.

"Go for baking!!" we both says in a unison way. Yeah we loves to bake.

"I'm going down stairs, I'll wait for you honey!" she stands.

"Wait mum?! Can I have my new friend with us?"

"Of course you can!" she closes the door.

I open up my phone. I got 2 messages from Jhenny.

'Hey! Good morning have a nice day!' that was a group message

and the second one was 'Lana? ' she inbox me.

Instead to reply via message, I'll push the call button.

'Hey?' she answers.

'Hey! Are you okay?'

'Yeahh! but I'm supposed to be the one who will asking you like that!' she laughs 'Why did you call? Is anything okay?'

'I was about to say that I would like you to invite here in our house, my mom and I, will bake some goodies and I already ask her if it is okay if I will going to invite my new friend and she said yes! So what? Are you busy?'

'No! I'm not busy and great I would love to if I am going to see you and your mom' I can hear that she's very excited.

'Uhmm, what time should I go?' she added.

'Right now?' I laugh.

'Okay see you!'

After Jhenny and I's conversation; I decided to join my mom downstairs, so I can help her to prepare all things we need for baking.

"Mom, Jhenny will come at home with in just a minute!"

"Okay sweetie!" she hands the flour and other ingredients.

"Do you need help?" I ask her.

"No sweetie, everything was already here" she points at the kitchen counter "just wait for Jhenny" she smiles.

"Okay!"

*ding dong*

I open the door with a smile and welcome my new friend but- the person who stands behind me wasn't her. It's Justin.

"What the hell are you doing here!" I shouted and tried to shut the door but he forced me to stop it.

"Let me explain" he pleased. "It was-" before he finish his fucking sentence with his lies, I shutted the door closed.

"Sweetie, who was that?" my mum asked. "Are you okay?"

"He's nothing. Yeah I am, I guess?" I wouldn't let Justin to ruined my first day from moving on over him.

*ding dong*

Another doorbell rangs. My mom looks at me, like she was saying that she was the one who will open the door; I nodded.

"Good morning, Mrs. Palvin!" I already heard Jhenny's voice.

"Good morning too, lovely!" my mom responds to her.

Uh-oh! Late update;- i know, i really am sorry! Anyways, I preach Lana; bc she didn't let Justin to ruined everything, again.
