Sneak Peak:

We ran through the dark halls of the elementary school, hand in hand. Memories of our innocent childhood flooded our brains as we passed old classrooms and significant parts of our once-elementary school. We ran down the fourth grade hallway, laughing the whole way as if we were young again. Him and I then rounded the corner to stumble upon the library. We entered the room filled with books of all sorts. I giggled as he dragged me to a bean bag seat placed in front of a rainbow rocking chair.

"This is where I used to sit for story time!" he chuckled while plopping down on the blue bean bag chair. He then pulled me onto his lap.

"Ooh! Is it story time?" I clapped my hands together acting as if I was six years old again. We both laughed and jumped up from the bean bag.

He grasped my small hand in his larger one once again, and we continued our journey around the empty-looking school.

We passed by classrooms, the art room, the music room, the science lab, the cafeteria, laughing and letting our youthful side take over.

We came across the bathrooms and exchanged knowing glances. Then the both of us bolted into the opposite gender's bathroom; him going into the girl's and I went into the boy's. I gazed around the powder blue bathroom and giggled at the fact that I, Alyssa Nicole Harrison, was in THE BOY'S restroom. I would have gotten in trouble for this minor, mischievous act. But nobody was around; nobody saw. It was just me and him. Nobody else mattered, anyways. Just him and I, reliving our childhood together.

We both came out of the bathrooms and looked at each other. When our eyes met, we just broke down in laughter; chuckling about our youthful silliness.

I then approached my companion and quickly tapped his shoulder screaming "TAG YOU'RE IT!" and dashing away as quick as possible. I playfully shrieked as the taller trailed behind me, running, trying to catch up. I turned around a corner, still sprinting as fast as my short legs could take me. I started slowing down a bit, noticing it was alright because he was far behind. I eventually came to a walk and continued going down the hallway I was in. I then came across an apple-shaped sign hanging from the ceiling. There were large, bold letters on it which spelt out "Mrs. Y's Class".

"Hey! That's my old classroom!" I spoke to myself.

I excitedly skipped over to the door of the classroom. I smashed my face against the window of the door, looking in at the old environment I used to know and love. I scanned the classroom and I found the desk I used to sit in. I giggled to myself, finding it funny that I still remember where I used to sit in school when I was only ten years old. Those were the days.

I then jumped ten feet in the air when someone from behind me grabbed my waist and pulled me into them, "Got you!" I heard a husky, yet playful voice whisper in my ear. I turned around to see those deep, chocolate eyes I know and love staring into my dark brown ones.

"I got you," he repeated softly while lunging forward to plant his soft, thin lips on mine. The collision of his kiss made me stumble backwards into the door of the classroom. He pulled away and opened his eyes, looking at me laughing. He shook his head in amusement and quickly pecked at my lips. Then, I cupped his face in my hands, pulling it to mine. I tilted my head and lightly kissed him. I felt his lips smile against mine, as they then began to softly move together. I then pulled away to just look at this gorgeous being standing in front of me. He smiled down at me and I giggled as I felt a blush start to trail across my cheeks. He lightly grazed his finger tips over the blush, which just made me giggle some more. He then pulled me closer to him and gave me one final soft, sweet kiss. "I love you." he whispered in my ear.

I shivered as his cool, minty breath hit my skin as he continued to whisper in my ear, "As long as we're together, we can be young, forever."
